  5. yeah the bronze have a very ruff finish for some reason, we sanded mine for days lol before we painted them satin black haha
  6. i believe that wheel fitment is mandatory on a gtr (any skyline really) and that u should definately go out there get some quality rubber fitted to them rims, roll those guards and get some nice coilovers to get the stance correct. i dont get how so many ppl say i dont wanna touch the guards but i wanna run these fat rims.....
  7. i have 18x9.5 +15 all around on an r34 gtt all guard liners removed, rolled, pumped and flared guards. no camber arms and my car is lowered alot with 245 front and 265 rear tyres

  10. well there is a few u have standard gtr nismo east bear nagissa auto sunline racing japan then all of the above in copies as well haha. thats just off the top of my head but there are way more others as well.

  14. hay dude, whats this patrol block ur talking about, i think the old ones do run rb30's mine will handle 1000hp and cost me 10k, how does the patrol block make it a 3.5litre, this is interesting...
  15. injectors, coilpacks and plugs is where i would start. have u tried flow testing ur injectors instead of going out and buying another set.

  17. this guy is on the ball, just add aftermarket coilpacks and some decent tyres and u should have some fun with it. ur looking arounf 5k + for that + install dont go past 10psi - 12 psi on a standard r34 turbo either

  19. novake, other than f**king awesome there isnt much i can say brother lol awesome build dude. i look forward to seeing it grow haha just a question though, y did u choose to get the kai instead of the spl turbo and also i see u went the carbon dash ah, nice man. im still looking for one for mine. there hard to find though lol.
  20. its way too small for one of those. the na ones are different to turbo, the turbos dont have that lil hose thing. if ur gonna run a pod filter, try to get a box around it (the just jap ones are cheap and look nice too) and get a cold air intake on it from the standard cooler piping hole (if u have an aftermarket cooler with a hole drilled) i dunno if n/a's have this hole though.
  21. what if i send u up a standard strut brace and just told u how meaty i wanted it to be. then measure from the centre to the firewall?? is that still a tad difficult? if u look at my display pic u can see one there, exactly how i want it. do u know any good fabricators in melbourne who could make me one. i fkn love that thing. would love a triangle brace in the boot as well. cheers julz
  22. i have been in the same situation before, call them/ write a letter saying it waS the other driver, thye couldnt prove which one of us did it so it got dropped. that was a couple of years ago though and camera technology has improved quite alot. give it ago but good luck

  25. seriously dude we have had this convo before. have u driven an m3, they might look nice but they are pretty boring (i take it u mean an e63 because if ur talking an e92 then i would choose that) they may look nice but they r not that good a car in my opinion (having had 3 beemers now) there gear box is a piece of shit as well unless u cruise it. an r34 gtr is a unbelievable sporets car. now i do agree with u in terms of on paper the rb26 does look a lil small being only a 2.6 liter engine, however they r a work of art. im doing the 3litre block and 26 head combo in my gtt atm and i think that is what u should do, or one of the many stroker kits available on the market. (tomei, hks, apexi, or the big boy os giken) but my first recomendation is buy a gtr and see how u go from there, do some nice handling mods and get some good tyres on it and then tell us what u reckon. and some basic breathing mods as well to open it up a lil. spool is currently working on a 3.4 litre stroker as well. but i dont know how far they have gone with it, i havnt seen any updates recently.
