Touche... Reading those regs, is making me very happy to not have put the money into mine to build it back again for track work yet... There's a million things I need to change if I wanna do TT...

Neil, I had a quick flick through the regs for TT that were just recently posted, you're planning to run in Modern Modified Sport yes? I'd love to take a punt at something like that, but I'm concerned about having to run the standard turbo charger... I'm not a fan of eating rear exhaust wheels... Are you still going to be sticking with the stock turbo?

Motorkhana I'll take ABS... I lost a run fractionally because the driver pushed too hard, locked a tyre and understeered... Gimme ABS and I'd have owned on that run. As for ABS in motorsport, there's a few guys on here who love it to death for racing, depending on the car, yet certain ABS systems are very bad as they have been known for completely shitting themselves if you're braking, and lift a tyre as one wheel will stop, so ABS kicks in. But for having fun with, since you haven't said street or track, I'd be using ABS.

You also need to undo the door handle. There's a screw there, and then there's a heap of plastic clips holding it on.

I wish I had a workshop and all of the tools you have at your disposal... Can't wait to see how it goes twin charged, although, if you're slowing down the compressor, won't you be removing the available boost at lower RPM as it won't be forcing as much air in at that point in time?

Define rubbish? There are some test results floating around showing they all perform the same as standard coil packs. Voltages and Amps etc. Most of the time when a coilpack setup is claimed as rubbish, there is something else in the system wrong. I had them in my 25/30DET, with 1.1mm gapped plugs, making a metric shit ton of torque (Un known as it wouldn't stop wheel spinning on the dyno, or track for that matter... But enough to put 69% injector duty cycle on 880 CC injectors with an 11:1 AFR...) and it never missed a beat.

If you're attempting to use the S1 loom/computer with the S2 coil packs, the ignitor setup is all different. Ignitor on S1 is the item that sits up the back. On the S2 it is built into each coil pack.

Why bother with split fires when the JJR and Yellow Jackets will do?

Exetel have an SMS service where it spoofs what phone number it comes from so tat the person can SMS a reply to a phone... It's not hard, and costs me 10c per message...

More so after the first run: "How did you not blow your engine?" "We saw four different colours of smoke as well as flames!" and finally at the end of the day while the engine drops oil pressure "Told you so"... LOL
