  1. Oi, second event President Biatch... There'll be more to come. Just looking at logistics of the next one and it'll be locked in and ready to roll! Oh, and it was a GREAT event, it was good to see such a turn out. I believe we had about 15 - 20 cars for the first leg to the pub. A few split early and there was around 10 - 15 cars whom decided to add an extra leg to the event to get some pies. Big Thanks to Owen for getting me to Kirrawee and letting me drive his car through the RNP to Austinmer, thanks to Steve and Sean for the passenger seats later in the day!
  2. Don't be afraid of the weather people, this isn't a race, so it doesn't matter if it's wet!
  3. Ed Zachary! You coming tomorrow Nick?
  4. I think some people are still meeting there, I'm just stealing CPD and his car. Mine is still pretending to be a 300ZX...
  5. Those fines have been around a long time. You can also be booked for running through puddles and wetting pedestrians. And if the Gov't don't make money through people paying voluntary taxes, they'll make everyone pay them compulsorarily.(sp)
  6. I meant cpd Owen.
  7. Well Mr Eric, I'm meant to be headed for the states next year, so maybe we can setup an SAU group buy and ship it back?
  8. Ha ha ha, yeah I was all over the shop on that one. I hated it so much because the motor was laggy before it had power, because I couldn't shake the tail loose when I needed to, it understeered alot, then once on boost the tail was coming out, but at the wrong points. I much preferred the course C because it was much more suited to the car and I didn't see understeer cause I had second gear power slides going along the long stretches, and 1st gear in the tight ones with a hand brake to initially shake it loose. I can't believe how much the MOTOR affects the handling in a Motorkhana. Big laggy monsters are NOT good for texi. I was a MILLION times tidier and quicker driving Mels R33 at the last texi it's just unbelieveable! (Until you read a time card... ) 1st gear didn't really ever see max boost as by the time it made 5PSI the rear tyres broke traction and you hit the limiter killing all boost... Second gear on the roll saw boost at around 4500RPM... 3rd and 4th at 4000RPM... But, rolling burnouts from 130KM/H ARE the bomb! (And very f**king scary too at times... )
  9. Owen if you're in, I need to speaks to you about it. And you may not be at the north gong meet up...
  10. A in the wet: I can't find my video of course C! But it was Epic more fun!
  11. PS, hear and see all that understeer...
  12. And for the lazies... http://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/khanazed.wmv
  13. Bump steer on the road is THE worst thing... Quickest way to find a gutter!
  14. Said like a true Bogan... But agreed on no replacement for displacement... Drool over 6.0L Twin Turbo...
  15. Joel, if your GF only puts out twice a year, get a new one... You're thinking of a wife... And Prue, all you need is a few booty calls and you're fine...
  16. C is the course to do. Way less under steer then on course a when I did it. Plus if you do it like Reece, you only use opposite lock...
  17. It's great for moving A to B, and towing etc, but it sure as hell is no performance car... If it is, enter it at the next track day, BOTH OF YOU!
  18. Get rid of the woman and you'll cruise every week!
  19. Can we redo the exhaust, and take it to texi? 3Rd gear off the mark frying tyres?
  20. That turbo that when pop... Well, just for the sake of laughing at you, I hope a tiny tiny piece got into your engin and fuxed your bore... And I don't have issues... I just feel the need to replace things often...
  21. It's actually very tempting to part the whole car out where it sits you know... ButI'll probably drop a new bottom end in and sell as a whole.
  22. Chubbs, as Andrew said you NEED to use the sender that came with the gauge. The sender in the car and the sender that came with the gauge will send out a different signal for the same pressure, hence your gauge going off the dial. Swap senders, all perfect!
  23. The opening paragraph had me laughing! This should be done, how people realise halfway through a project they should have done it! Screw the motor, make it steer and stop first!
  24. Not everyone is a pedobear either. If you want something to track once a month, buy a dedo track car, buy a Commodore for daily duties, get the track car setup for like improved production (So you keep it "stock") and just drive the doors off it! My R33 GTS-t will most lkely be up for sale in Jan as I'm looking atspending a lot of time over seas.
