  1. All you need to know is the persons number you want to send it to (Your mate) and your phone number, and it's all done.
  2. Exetel have an SMS service where it spoofs what phone number it comes from so tat the person can SMS a reply to a phone... It's not hard, and costs me 10c per message...
  3. More so after the first run: "How did you not blow your engine?" "We saw four different colours of smoke as well as flames!" and finally at the end of the day while the engine drops oil pressure "Told you so"... LOL
  4. Where are the bogan single spinner skids from teh hectic police HSV?
  5. Wollongong Car Scene? New car park? Popular? Our car scene is about as big as our clubbing scene at the glass house these days... IE, non existant... It exists of 3 Civics or Excels "cruising" and 10 Highway Patrol Cars defecting them... Just a warning, Saturday night is the 12th... The car parks in the lagoon will be full, it's Christmas Party time... I know this because my whole work will be at the Lagoon for a Christmas Party on Saturday the 12th of December... And if you're actually meaning Friday the 11th, then that's Wollongong's Santa Claus Pub Crawl. IE, every shit faced person will be out along with every police officer patrolling around...
  6. It was competitive really, 8th fastest in one of the morning courses! And pretty sure I didn't lose many battles in the arvo! I would have been quicker in the Go To Whoa if it weren't for the fact I was driving it like a boat ie "All Anchors or No Anchors" LOL
  7. If he never pushed the car, why did he want more power?
  8. The water added another 100HP too! Once it was wet it epically went to redline so quickly! LOL Thanks again man!
  9. Alright ladies and skirts, how the hell did I manage to punch out 8th quickest entrant on one of the morning courses out of 34 entrants INCLUDING Reece, and I was driving a HSV VN! You kids need to try harder!!!
  10. The forsale section on this website too. Or post a WTB.
  11. Now you just need to paint it all in there to make it look nice and pretty!
  12. What school do you work at down here? High School I used to go to, my mate and I used to be the network admin team! Network went to shit when we left and they had to employ someone... LOL Does your school ever buy IT stuff locally? I know the school I was at (About 5/6 years ago now) did.
  13. Just awake now after my epic adventures... The guys and gals running the day did an epic job (I pretty much played participant only) The running only two courses in the morning was good, and the two afternoon courses were good too. I owe the largest thanks to Sean for letting me abuse his HSV with everything I could... And somehow it's still going. It appears HSV>Nissan for abuse strength
  14. If it's efi, prime the fuel pump for around 15 seconds before pumping (May mean you have to turn key from acc to on and wait, and then repeat like 10 times.)
  15. To all of those who are saying companies who offer TPP insurance and won't do anything when someone else hits you, when I was with GIO, I had an incident that I was not at fault for, and they told me straight away, if I pay the excess, they will fight the claim for me, BUT to save me the excess cost, to firstly try the cops, letter of demand etc, and once I've done all that and can't get anywhere to let them chase him down. So I know GIO at least will take them on.
  16. Really? LOL, I've never seen any writing on mine... But I've never paid a lot of attention to it as it is out of the way... I just read it in a cool book someone lent me...
  17. Yeah, if I didn't run out of patience I think I would have gotten it right... After a few days... LOL Problem was I was running out of pipe!I do have one line made with that though, I had it done by the guy I bought the pipe off actually, walked in went "I need it this long, I've measured it, but I can't use your tool" and he did the first one straight away, the second one took two attempts... And he uses it daily! But yeah, he was nice enough to loan it to me... Or smart enough, in the hope I'd destroy a whole length of hose and go and buy a new length off him... LOL
  18. Neil, Duncan and I were discussing how no one knows what "That brown box is" in the engine bay up near the windscreen wiper motor... Well I found out it's for your windscreen wipers. It's an "Amplifier" for them. NFI how it works or what it amplifies.
  19. Vee Sea Are? :S Handley! Start converting to youtube!
  20. It sounds extremely likely you've broken the clutch pedal bracket then. When I snapped mine the friction point was basically at the floor.
  21. Chibs, if it went from "perfectly normal" to "pick up very low and broken" in a space of getting in and out, then you have either a leaking hydraulic system/broken pivots etc OR the clutch pedal has broken. If you're not loosing fluid, then I'd say you've broken the pivot or the clutch pedal bracket. Since adjusting it helped, I'd say you've broken the clutch pedal bracket. Which means get it fixed. Climb under the dash upside down, look at the clutch pedal where it mounts in up high, if as you press it the bracket moves, you've snapped the bracket. Pull the dash out, reweld the bracket.
  22. Actually, it does the exact same thing. The headers are the BIGGEST gain you can make on an NA car. After the first muffler/catalytic converter, the only difference you can get, is if you put a blockage in the exhaust. Go too big, exhaust gasses will cool though, slow, and cause a restriction. As soon as you put a muffler/catalytic converter in, you lose the "pulsing" effect of the exhaust, once you lose the pulsing effect, you lose the ability to scavenge. It is one thing to remember though, that the distance of the first muffler/cat converter from the end of the secondary join CAN affect performance. As you still have pulsing in this front section of pipe, you CAN tune the pulsing to scavenge the secondarys.
  23. I knocked my temp sensor off one day to the ECU, car wasn't too happy about it once warmed up.
  24. From memory, he also has upto 14 days to make a claim before you are able to take legal action.
