  5. Just got mine. Thanks. Will do trader rating once I fit it in hopefully this weekend. Speaking of which anyone installed theirs yet on a R34? Any problems/tips?
  6. OK I see what you are getting at. Sorry I misunderstood you comment. BTW there will be the side affect of the boiling point being lower due to you introducing a fluid with a lower boiling point eg. DOT4. Well I guess theose pads are not designed for track. There are other Endless pads for track use but they are even more expensive. So piss Endless of and next pad change I will try QFM A1RM or Ferrodo DS2500/3000
  7. 'Backwards compatibe'??? If you top up your DOT 5.1 with DOT 3/4 you are defeating the whole point of using 5.1. When you mix 5.1 with other fluid you are brining the boiling point down and making it more water absorbent, which brings the boiling point even lower. You might as well save your money and just use DOT 4 if you are not going to top up 5.1 with 5.1. As for the pads I have Endless SSY front and back. Very good street pad although often noisy at low speeds. No fade on twists either. It was ok at Oran Park but started to feel fade after several quick laps. Once you done a cool down laps or two it was fine. I think the fade was mainly due to me having stock rotors and lines (fluid was 5.1). From memory I got them for about $320 front and $280 rear of some internet shop in Melbourne (on special). In my opinion they are overpriced. The dusting is average (cleaner than Bendix Ultimates). Someone asked before about R32 GTR pads. They are exactly the same as R34 GTT (front and rear) as my friend got the same pads as me for his R32 GTR. The V Spec ones are larger to fit the Brembos.
  8. i hardly use that coin box. keep forgeting about it. lol. but i dont wanna cut anything so that idea is out
  9. na i hate it there as well. i want my car to look pretty much stock/stealth not to atract unwanted attention from the boys in blue. is your feed hose istalled before the intercooler or after? any problems with the setup?
  10. Thanks for your help pplz. If any more ideas Im all ears. So far it looks like next to my knee on either right or left as it sounds like that shouldn't pose a problem for my long lanky legs.
  11. I thought about that as well but Im pretty tall with long legs so might get in the way at times.
  12. sounds like a plan. I assume you mean the empty DIN panel? Also is it a pain to switch from high boost to low boost on the fly or is it just 1 button and that it?
  13. Hi people, Before you abuse me I have done a search for this and couldn’t find anything. I am going to buy the Greddy Profec B Spec II ebc for my R34 GTT. Few questions: 1. Where have people positioned the actual device in the R34 cabin? 2. Is it handy in the spot that it is installed in or would you install it somewhere else if you were to do it again? I have an empty DIN under my stereo but not sure how it would fit/look there as the device is much smaller than DIN size. Ps. Any tips/warning about the installation of this ebc in a R34 GTT? Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.
  14. in that case change only the muffler. usualy the jap ones give a nice deep sound.
  15. If you already got a 3" all the way why do you wanna change it? Sounds like a waste of money to me. I got a blitz nur spec r cat back so far. Got a metal cat at home but still waiting to get the d/f pipe. The sound is nice and deep. When there are cops I gotta keep it at very low revs other wise get pulled over (happened once so far).
