  1. U would have to make some sort of moulding for it behind the rear seat. Do not just screw it into the "wall" behind the rear seat as thats where the fuel tank is. I screwed mine down in the boot floor on the passangers side. Not pretty but works fine.
  2. Most of the drop top ones are non turbo. Test drive both and see how you like it. I got the R34 as I always loved them. I been in a S15 before and its a nice car but I still prefer the R34 (but than again I’m probably bias). Compare for yourself either way u win. Also sell your car privately and buy a car privately. For your Integra u be lucky to get $8k from a dealer and u can buy a R34 or S15 about $4k - $5k cheaper privately as well. People often buy from dealers for the warranty. Most of the time the warranty is only valid if you service the car with the dealer and you pay for each service (f%#k that). ps. get the S15 so there is less R34s on the road.. lol...
  3. If this fits stock turbo and stock airbox with no fuss then Im in. Black one for R34 gtt (if no black blue will do).
  4. A Skyline has only bit more room than a Supra so if you wanna have 4 ppl in the car quiet often it's not really a smart choice. Go for a sedan like a Chaser (just remember wit NA the more displacement the better). If you really want a Skyline there is nothing wrong with a NA R33. Its a good stepping stone to a turbo Skyline. ps. Who ever said a NA Supra can beat a gtst is misinformed. i have driven 2 NA Supras and there is no way they will keep up with a gtst. Stock for stock a R32 gtst will even beat it.
  5. U should have told her it came from an Aus delivered R32 GTR so its legal in Aus... lol... Anyways good luck with the conversion. A RB25 in a light 180 would be a lot of fun. Just make sure u do some suspension mods and get fat rubber so u can keep the car under control.
  6. I seen that car a few times in North Sydney. My heart stopped each time it drove by and I have seen lambos, ferraries, bentleys, etc in North Sydney but none of them compare for me. This car looks truly awesome. Congras on an awesome purchase (if i had the $$$ the GTR would be in my garage by now... lol).
  7. If price is not an issue get a RB26. Stock makes close to 200rwkw for the R32 version and about 200rwkw for the R33. You wont be able to beat it for response as its twin turbos spool up quick and it has individual throttles. Plus a Power FC for a RB26 can be picked up for around $900 new. Its the ultimate Nissan engine. :-)
  8. have a search for some of the dyno days results on the threads in this forum but in general: RB25 (non Neo) pod (covered with an air feed) exhaust (3" with good cat and split front/dump pipe) intercooler 12psi boost Power FC (with good tune) =at least 200rwkw. (more likely 210-215) If you want a quick and fun car you should focus on the mid range power instead of top range. Also remember even though RBs are better then SRs in general they cost more and cost more to mod/maintaine as they are 6cyl not 4 (eg. 6 spark plugs, 6 injectors, bigger intake manifold, etc...). Also Apexi stop making the Power FC for the RB25. As the PFC was the best ecu (in comperison to the prices of other ecus) for basic mods you may need to spend more to get another ecu and tune (eg. Wolf).
  9. On my old civic I needed a longer intake pipe and adaptor for the pod so I cut a 600ml coke bottle to size and that fit perfectly into the stock intake pipe and the pod. Held in place perfectly and also gave awesome deep intake sound. After that my friends started to call my house ‘ghetto mods performance centre’. Lol.
  10. No way. Front - 8.5 (9 max with rolled guards but not reccomended). Rear - 9 (maybe 9.5 with correct offset and rolled guards). Also dont go 19s too expensive (rubber expensive as well) and too heavy. 18s are plenty. Do a search if u want more info.
  11. All depends what you are after: Performance - I like the EVO 8 MR. Bigger turbo for more potential and a bit lighter then 7 as well. Plus the shape of 7 is dull. Crusing/daily driver - V35. How about instead of forking out $25k extra for then new car spend like $15k on the R34 and turn it into the perfect mix of performance and luxury. I reckon the R34 is better looking then an EVO or a V35 it just needs some finishing touches. Also, if V35 is so expensive in WA then get one from QLD (seen al ot of ads for them from QLD). Fly to QLD drive back in the V35 (awesome road trip but dont go alone).
  12. I think it might be hard to fit 265 on 8" rims. I have stock R34 rims which are also 8" and I got 235s on there (stock are 225) and I dont see how you could fit much wider tyres on 8s.
  13. Yeah I saw that before I was just trying to find a cheaper one. Thanks anyway.
  14. thanks mate. i will contact him.
  15. Hi, Some really sad idiots smashed my large tail light on the drivers side last night (feel sorry for them if their idea of fun is going around smashing ppls cars). So now im after a new/used tail light. Either the entire drivers side tali light assembly (would prefer of a black R34) or even better just the red glass on the larger light. Also does anyone know of any place in Sydney where I could get this? Do you think Nissan dealers would be able to get the red glass/plastic cover?
  16. Hi Steve, Any update on these as i would love to get my hands on one this month... Thanks. Rad.
  17. in my opinion a skyline looks good with the wing but thats juz my opinion... i was wondering is it safe at high speeds with no wing? lets say u hit 200km/h+ is there a chance the arse end can become unstable???
  18. thanks for the quick reply mate.. i think i will wait for the split pipes as they are better... also they are stainless for $250 so much cheaper...
  19. Any news on the R34 GTT pipes yet? Also why is it so hard to make the R34 pipes? a lot of places have pipes for R32 and R33 but not R34...
  20. The adventage of the split is that the primary gases flow down the primary pipe and the gases from the internal wastegate flow down a seperate which then connects to the primary pipe further down the line . The adventage of this is that you keep the 2 seperate and they dont interfere with each others flow therefore you are helping the gases flow down the exhaust easier with means you get more power. Also the further down the line the 2 pipes join the better it is.
  21. dont buy the cheapo ebay ones they are shyt.. i had them on my civic and i couldnt see shyt at night unless i was on my high beams... so i just left my high beams on the whole time and ppl flashed my every 30secs... my frined got some for an Audi A3 and they have hight and side adjustements so they should be fine as mine didnt have those but will have to wait till he installs them to see if they are good... but from what i have seen the cheap ebay ones and a waste of time and money... u better of getting a xenon kit...
  22. next time i will write it in Word then past it in so it's all spelled correct and the grammer is fine as well... lol... of and use paragraphs as well...
  23. ok fine you have a point that a lot of people that buy these cars have gotten to that point by hard work (excluding most celebrities of course). as for the resale value we all know these are quality build cars and therefore the resale value will stay high, also the fact that these cars will travel on average between 500 -1000kms a year dosnt hurt the resale value either... come to think of it what is the most kms you have ever seen/heard of on an odometer of a ferrari, lambo, etc...? 30000kms on a 30 year old model? can these engines even survive 100000+? i am asking that coz we all know that the more you "tweak" or "tune" an engine to get every last kw out of it the more likely you are sacrificing the reliability of the motor... as for heritage and research let me just say heritage is way over rated... the fact that ferrari has had a good record on race tracks dosnt mean crap to their road cars sorry to say... honda and toyota both run in F1 and indy and they dont have "heritage"... the work heritage is just a fancy marketing term used to sell a product at a higher price than it should be sold for... as for research let me just say that every single car company in the world can produce a super car, all it comes down to is $$$... let me give you an example... kia can hire a number of specilised engineers and throw some money at research and develop a new supercar... but the reason the wont is coz they will not make as much profit as selling 1000s of cheap cars... also if u want research, quality and an over all awesome package let me point u in the direction of the new z06 corvette... on top gear they compared the z06 to the ferrari 575... the z06 is faster around the track, has very similar styling to the ferrari and even the interior is great and the z06 cost 1/3 of the 575... why? i guess "heritage" is well worth the extra hundreds of thousands of $$$ or is that the "wank" factor again?
  24. thank you at least someone understands... and i agree 100% no car is worth that sort of money and believe me i love cars... all these enzos are are $2M trophies to show the world that you have too much $$$... if you want a trophy and have a lot of money why not buy an oscar from ebay and wear it around your neck... **cough cough "wank factor" cought cough**
  25. they dont need servicing coz they only travel 2000kms in their lifetimes coz they are never driven and collect dust in a "collectors" garage...
