  1. Has anyone tried to put RB20/26 injectors in their Neo manifolds? what issues did you come across? I just got some 1000cc injectors for my 30 so have spare 550's and an RB20 fuel rail..
  2. I run a carpc with Datascan loaded on and have a 7" touchscreen in dash with the consult cable permanently plugged in.
  3. I been there in torential rain with a pretty flooded track. There was one corner in particular, I would go the whole track with the visor up then get to this corner and have to remember to visor down as the bow wave that came off the front of the kart was amazing. Through corner, visor up, continue.
  4. The alignment of the ports is even worse on an RB20 manifold as the last two runners are stepped where it joins the top half. I had a GTR plenum welded to my stock runners and my welder had to heat/bend the first and last runners and then find the happiest medium he could.
  5. That's exactly what I was saying
  6. The last statement is incorrect. You say that most AWD/4WD cars "cannot safely be put on a dyno", that isn't the case. I believe KEC only have a RWD chassis dyno, that is the problem. If they had a 4WD dyno then it wouldn't be an issue. I'd just be very careful about what you say in your letters guys, any fallacies or inconsistencies will only serve to undermine our efforts. Make sure you know the facts.
  7. Pfft, 30 is the way to go
  8. Yeah I hate those whistle sounding bov's too, with a passion.
  9. It won't do anything unless you're still running an AFM, and then it's just going to fuel up a bit. LOL Krab, are you serious? never taken it over 4500rpm?!
  10. You're welcome doof.
  11. My 32 is still in cold start at anything under 65deg.
  12. Flutter will not kill turbos. Flutter DOES NOT CAUSE THE TURBO TO SPIN BACKWARDS. Excessive heat (caused by overboosting or restrictions) will kill stock ceramic turbine wheels or nylon compressor wheels.
  13. Rain + karts = fun
  14. Legal street car? I recently drove my mates GTS4 at a track day.. RB30DET + T04Z + AWD = holy shit!
  15. The v8 should theoretically rev better due to smaller/lighter reciprocating components.

  19. Courtesy of my better half, I present a few of the 1000+ photos taken on the day (posted up here so non-members can see what they're missing out on ).. Linky! What to do when you hit cones 101 How not to hit cones 101 Good save Bad save
  20. Pfft, the guy I know with one let me drive his Awesome cars though. I was under the impression that Launch Control was actually disabled in the ADM 35R's. What really spun me out is the computer controlled take off.. you can feel the computer letting the clutch out and finding its' own friction point.. really bizarre
  21. Sorry, maybe live was the wrong choice of word. I meant that remapping (at least how mine was done), is they solder a cradle where the old EEPROM was (I did this myself, saved a bit of coin) and use a romulator (chip with a cable) to tune, once happy with the tune they burn the maps to another EEPROM and chuck it in. Nistune is tunable through the consult port, you don't need to open it up and remove chips. I use Datascan on my carpc, cost about $35 from plmsdevelopments.
  22. No probs mate
  23. Too many people speaking from internet experience as opposed to real world experience
