25 turbos on 25's generally run out of puff at the top, just like 20 turbos on 20. 25 turbos on 20's give the RB20 that extra breathing up top that the stock turbo doesn't.

I installed and tuned my ProfecBII myself, then had my tuner remap my ecu to suit my setup. For anyone who doesn't really know what they're doing it's best to at the very least get your tuner to set up your ebc on the dyno (much safer).

I have a Pro78, love it. Has never missed anything and I get 200-300m notice depending on conditions (i.e. if it's just round a bend it won't be 300m ). I get automatic doors setting it off but I leave that band on as that is the same band that the in-car radars are on and it's pretty easy to tell the difference with the signal strength.

If you're not going to run vvt then just get a z32 afm and have the RB20 ecu remapped. Also, I'm surprised the RB20 ecu ran the RB25DET injectors and coils.. isn't there wiring differences? You have such a mismatch of parts there I'm not surprised it runs like shit. If you were running RB20 ecu with RB20 afm and RB20 injectors, it probably wouldn't be so bad. Likewise if you were running RB25DET items allround it probably wouldn't be so bad either.

lol bad boy bubba.. I love cats.. I wouldn't wrap one in gladwrap I looked into solid lifter conversion with some big cams and it came to about $2500 in just parts, then gotta add machining and downtime to that! I'll stick with my stock NA cams for now..

I believe they do but you still need to do a solid lifter conversion as the ramp rates for solid and hydraulic cams are different.

That's not exactly true. If he is trying to run RB25DET injectors on a stock RB20 ecu, then yes it will run like crap. If he is using all RB20 items (injectors, sensors etc), then it will run fine on the stock RB20DET ecu. But with a bigger turbo on there it's going to hit R&R pretty damn quickly and likely max the airflow meter pretty quickly too. Get a remap before you blow your engine up. I ran mine on a stock ECU for a few months but I've only got a little 25 turbo on there. Oh and R32 RB25DE head doesn't have VVT. If your head does have VVT, and you're using side feed RB25DET injectors, then I think you need to clarify a few things...

Depending on setups, EBC's often need to be fine tuned to hold boost levels or prevent creep.

I give mine a fair bit of grief and it seems fine.. might be a different story when I'm pushing 400rwhp and have some slicks on down the drag strip..

I believe all the Q45's are 80mm butterflies but some have a 90mm snout.. that's what I've gathered from my research anyway.

I don't think they flash to let you know a globe has blown, I think it's just a case of that's what happens when a globe blows and the current draw decreases.. Maybe look at off the shelf flasher units, I'm not an autosparky so I don't know whether they would all be the same or not..
