  1. I'd rather not go into too much detail but it did involve stuffing him into the boot of a car, taking him down to the river and "teaching" him a "lesson"
  2. My keys live near my baseball bat.. We caught some little shit in a share house we had years ago going through our stuff, boy did he regret it
  3. Worked well on the mrs.. she does have to get a new pair of shoes though O_o
  4. I'm sure Cummins could help you out with a big turbo straight 6..
  5. Currently running Federal ss595 in 225/45/17 on the front of my car, fit the rims quite nicely, sit nice and square and handles very nicely (also don't look as ghey rolled over as the same size/different brand tyres on the back). Going to try squeeze some 245's on the back when I need new rear tyres..
  6. Maybe it's a different sump adaptor but it had many more holes to fit in than is required for just the sump.
  7. ~1260-1300kg depending on what year and who you talk to and yes, front sump.. good luck! sounds interesting
  8. I'm very interested if you need to fill spots, and don't worry - I don't have 400rwhp.. only about 250 very keen to get out on the skid pan and give it some hurt
  9. Mate, a lot of those things are general maintenance items, it's part of owning ANY car, let alone a performance car that is ~17yrs old. If you can't handle any of that, buy a brand new Hyundai or some other Korean crap with a warranty.
  10. You mean a mongrel?
  11. V8's are teh shiz for towing..
  12. Well he either needs to find another tuner (I like Hyperdrive and they do all my tuning, but they said his turbo is maxing out) or look at another setup. He did ask about other turbos, I was merely pointing out that there are bigger options and that I've heard bad things about the horsepowerinabox turbos that use standard exhaust housings whereas real Garrett items don't.
  13. My engine was about to go in a GTS4 when I got it so the block is drilled/tapped for the 4wd sump adaptor if I ever decide to get a 4wd and put it in there (shock horror).
  14. I've heard those bolt on GT series use dodgy exhaust housings.. you can get a brand new GT35R for around ~$1800 *paid (1600 for mine but they were special circumstances). A lot of fab. work to be done though..
  15. Nah street after Hardy, you head to the end of Hardy (through the esses and round the big lefthand bend) and turn right heading down the hill, right hand bend with a street on the left, he lives on that corner. My car is loud and he came running out brandishing his fist.. I was like WTF OLD MAN and grabbed the anchors, was sitting there half way round the corner flipping him off and considering leaving some big strips down the street (threatening to throw a BRICK at my car is over the line, he's lucky I didn't back it up across his lawn up to his front door!) but then noticed the little old granny riding her bicycle on the road next to me, not wanting to step out and knock a granny off her bike I flipped him off again and casually drove off.
  16. 260rwhp isn't too much of a stretch.. my 20 with the 25 turbo made 245rwhp on the same dyno and my 30 with the 25 turbo made 243rwhp on the same dyno again, both at 12psi (different days account for the 2hp loss ) my mate has his 33 dyno'd at some place SOR and it made 296rwhp with stock turbo.. THAT is a stretch.. VERY happy dyno there!
  17. I will be in a few months once everything gets sorted, I'll let you know then Probably been covered in the RB30 threads, Cubes also gave me some useful advice (he's like an RB30 guru heh).
  18. I highly doubt you can make ~1300hp with the amount of airflow through a 63mm aperture.. someone do the maths and tell me it's true before I believe it. rb26s13: what has been covered many times? there are two questions, a main and a secondary. Please be specific or piss off Lastly, I have an RB30DET in an R32 with a GT35R to go on (for those that don't know) so I don't care about response/power/etc, I need to do this as it is the only way the piping will work with my setup. I have seen the RIPS and plazmaman items, aswell as some custom jobs from people on the forums, but am reluctant to fork out for a new item at the prices they are. Maybe I shouldn't have asked about the throttle body.. my mechanic said I can't use the RB26 throttlebodies (likely due to wiring etc) and TBH I really can't be assed trying to get them to work. To cut it short, has anyone fitted an rb26 plenum to an rb20/25 (doesn't matter which as the required mods would be practically the same), with or without throttle bodies. Is it safer than an ebay job from the states? I have vaguely gathered that 26 plenums can run one cylinder slightly lean but as it's a widely known fact tuners compensate for it.. is this correct?
  19. I'm not going down till I get new water pump and thermostat in
  20. I don't think any GTR's had the longnose diff, I think that's an older thing out of 300zx's n stuff, could be wrong though - been known to happen
  21. Wondering if it has been done? Looking at welding a GTR plenum to RB20 runners and welding a boss on the front for the throttle body. Had a search, couldn't find anything, has it been done? any opinions? (I know I'll get a lot, opinions are like assholes afterall ) Lastly, any good/bad experiences with china throttle bodies?
  22. It's a pretty straight forward swap, there should be a DIY on the forums somewhere too.
  23. Damn you're only making 20hp more than me and all I've got is a stock 25 turbo! same dyno too. I've got a GT35R with a .82 rear housing waiting to go on my engine.. I reckon it should chirp 2nd would suggest either a GT35R with the smaller .63 housing or a GT30 for your engine. Pick a hp goal and have a read through the 25 turbo upgrade in the FI area.
  24. My 44mm TiAl gate arrived yesterday.. man it's shiney Can't wait to start putting it all together, hopefully the gate is big enough.. I'm only wanting to push 300rwkw out of the GT35R for now.
