  1. I didn't like the sound of this bit: NITTO ehen ghey come tomy shop i a few weeks
  2. Motec bukkake sessions that drizzle HTML all over his posts.
  3. I think you should forget about everything have you have asked and spend the next 3 months reading these forums before you do anything! You have a LOT to learn.
  4. Don't know about 125kmh winds But it does feel completely solid on the road even in heavy cross winds, probably because it weighs as much as a tank. I know what you mean though as even my 185kg 250cc scooter is horrible to ride even in moderate winds.
  5. MOST importantly - never look at the sun. It's really venus.
  6. You just need the appropriate wet weather gear. You get used to it when you have to. Although my bike is pretty comfortable in the weather anyway with its electric screen, heated bits etc
  7. Using an RB25 in a boat = awesome! I'm going to order one of the Just Jap items linked to above, I think clearance will be fine. Thanks everybody.
  8. I thought of that but there is only a small area where that might be possible, and its kinda recessed and on an angle: http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/1597/Mocal_Sandwich_Plate Not sure it how well it would work.
  9. Just measured up the Nissan R34 oil filter against a Z145A, its about 1.3cm shorter so I think there will be plenty of room with the 2 sandwich plates whilst using the smaller filter.
  10. Are there any missing cats in your neighbourhood? You might have one stuff in your engine bay It has happened before! But seriously, i agree it will be the exhaust manifold or turbo gasket - I know the sound you mean.
  11. That is the third and probably smartest option - but if I did want to do go with the 2 sandwich plates do you think I would have a clearance issue between the oil filter and the drivers side wheel arch? As my engine in not in the car I cant visualise it. I am just looking the oil filter now and I do use the smaller R34 type ones, so I am pretty sure there will be plenty of room.
  12. hahah thats what I was thinking
  13. No I mean two sandwich plates in addition to the stock oil warmer / cooler. I have an oil cooler to install with a built in thermostat in the sandwich plate, so it doesn't have room for the 1/8" NPT sensor holes. I need to install an oil pressure sensor and will possibly install another oil temp sensor down the track so i will need a second sandwich plate with the sensor holes. I realise I could get rid of the factory oil pressure sensor and install the new one there, but then I would need to find a BPT to NPT adapter to fit it, and the (crap) factory oil pressure gauge would stop working, which whilst pretty much useless would annoy me to not have it working. I think you can get a BPT adapter with a tap for both a BPT and NPT sensor, but I havent been able to find one anywhere.
  14. Has anyone used two oil sandwich plates before (on top of the stock oil warmer / cooler) and has it caused any clearance issues with the fitment of the oil filter? My skyline is in a million pieces (engine out) at the moment so I can't have a look and estimate the clearance. I know it's not ideal using two as its just another point of failure / leaks, but it will make my life easier Cheers Justin
  15. This thread is epic haha, I have been avoiding it but decided to read start to finish. About 45 minutes later and here we are! To whoever mentioned getting a scooter and living with that for 6 months while their Skyline was off the road - my R34 has been off the road for over 2 years now and I have not had another car during that whole period, much to my wife's disgust! I was surviving with a 250cc scooter to begin with, then I bought a new Kawasaki 1400 GTR a little while after. Coincidentally this morning the 312kg GTR fell over and smashed into my Skyline... Not happy Anyway sounds like you have had quite an adventure with your Stagea lilcrash, I bet you have learnt a lot during the whole saga. Sounds like you are getting closer to getting everything sorted once and for all though, hopefully! Good luck with it all. Hopefully mine will give me less drama and I put it all back together.
  16. You not thinking of changing your turbo already are you Mick_o?!
  17. Hey Hanaldo - I have a brand new Nissan OEM Neo 86mm head gasket you can have for $20 if you need one.
  18. There have been two threads with extensive detail on this in the past few days...
  19. My Blackberry has a full touch screen, no keyboard at all.
  20. How long does the course take take? I might fly over and do it one day!
  21. I very much doubt it, looks like a normal stud.
  22. Hmm I should have replaced it, for the sake of $20 for the new stud and nut...
  23. Aftermarket pistons are different too and are often more expensive. There are some other different bits as well, intake side of things are slightly different so fitting other plenums / manifolds can be a bit more work. There does seem to more and more Neo specific aftermarket stuff coming out lately though.
  24. This is definetly true. Still worth going for the Neo though.
