  1. Yeah, I was driving the blue KE. Red 32 which needed petrol as well so we headed back early? Or the other red 32? I think I'll be having an early night tonight. In bed at 9:30.
  2. Definitely agree that it's the persons fault for getting in the car in the first place, but I guess you just think it'll never happen to you. I think something like this happening to a close group of friends or family is the only way of making people realise not to get into a car with a drunk/drugged up driver at the wheel. I know it has for me..
  3. That was on Friday night. I'm guessing you were that 33 that turned up. Edit: I normally bum around somewhere with some mates or club somewhere. Really need to think of something new to do.
  4. I'm not too sure who the driver is yet, but he isn't the owner of that car. Probably driving a GTR for the first time and not knowing how the 4wd system works... I sometimes wonder why I get into a car with a guy who's been drinking behind the wheel, but that won't be happening again after what has happened. It's just stupid how someone has to die before realising.
  5. Leng is okay as far as I know. Saw him yesterday and he seemed fine, walking around, etc. Hai's had an operation and doctors are allowing family and friends to see him, so I'm assuming he should be fine. I didn't get the chance to know Sandra, but she seemed like a nice girl. She'll be missed.
  6. Yeah, most likely will still be illegal. In Victoria, you can only increase your track by ~26mm. For the wheels to come out of the guards in the first place, they would have to exceed that limit. Most cops won't know that anyway.
  7. Possible, but it's not worth the effort involved to make it fit. Cutting shit up is involved. East Bear make a cover to put over the original lights to make it look like the coupes though.
  8. I think it's a 'hate or love' it kind of thing. I like it. I think a lot of it depends on the shade of the green. I've seen some where they're fluro green, some just green green, it really depends on shade with me. Here are a few more examples,
  9. Nah, you don't want something like that. That's Mexican spec. hahaha Maybe a little camber and it'll look better. Look under your guards, if it's standard, it'll look something like this, Those guards 'rolled' will look like this, Anything really 'tough' looking is illegal these days. My rear wheels slightly stick out of the guards, not even that tough and they still got me pulled up. This is in a shit bomb of a car too. Just don't let the police see your car from behind and it should be okay...
  10. Keep an eye out on yahooauctions Japan. Pretty shit aud to jpy at the moment though.
  11. R32, 33, 34 turbo model wheels will fit, they both have the same stud pattern, 5x114.3. How it sits will be a different story. Supra's normally take wheels with offsets around the +50mm mark (assuming it's the MKIV Supra you're talking about).
  12. He's got the SAUVic club sticker on his car when I last saw it (meaning he would have an account?), no idea what his username is though.
  13. GTST Sedan is Nick. AP drives a 32 4 door GTSt too.
  14. If I'm coming down, I'll be in my KE70, the Skyline's dead... And I don't have access to any keys for it.
  15. It'll depend on your ride height, the wheel's offset and what tyres it'll be wearing. Camber and castor too.
  16. Quick google search for you, 3 Should be something similar to those.
  17. Come to the meet this Friday! I want to see this before it goes. hahah No chance of a straight swap for my KE is there? Good luck with it man.
  18. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ap-t237005.html There you go.
  19. You can't drive a R33 turbo either way. It's over the power to weight ratio.
  20. I'm still thinking that there's a vacuum leak somewhere. Have you checked to see all hosing is tight and there aren't any holes you were supposed to block up when installing the pod?
  21. Give abu a PM. He's got some white XD9s on a purple 33 GTR. Ask for some pictures of them or even look for his for sale thread. Should have some pictures in there. I'll post them up if I stumble across them.
  22. When I had to replace my head gasket, I just scraped off all the old gasket with a sharp blade. Just kept at it till the surface was nice and smooth. Before I reinstalled the head with new gasket, I gave it a wipe down with some metho to make sure it'll have a good contact without oil or anything getting in the way. Whether or not you should use the spray to put the gasket on will depend on the gasket you buy. There was no need to use any extra seal with my gasket, but I've heard of others needing it before installation. I'm guessing it just depends on the gasket you purchase. This was all done on a 4AGE Toyota motor (naturally aspirated), don't think it would be much different for an RB20. Edit: I did this about 2-3 months ago and the motor's still running strong!
  23. Vacuum leak? Check over all your piping (intercooler) to see if the clamps are all tight.
  24. Does it still flutter when you rev it hard? As in till redline-ish? Or does it only flutter when you're revving low? It's normal for it to flutter if you lightly rev it to about 3.5-4krpms because the pressure isn't enough for it to open the bov up. Try giving it a bit of a harder drive and listen to it. Should open up and give a whoosh type noise if I remember correctly. If it doesn't, probably that pipe/hose you're talking about.
