  1. It would really depend on how much of a risk you wanna take. Most tracks probably wouldn't let you enter the track with fuel leaking anyway. I would get it fixed. It's fuel...
  2. That will be globe type. Say 'Skyline' is equal to HID globe, 'D2R' is like R32, 'D2S' is R33, etc.
  3. http://streetviewgallery.corank.com/
  4. Give 666dan a PM. I'm pretty sure he was selling other forum users HID globes to suit the R34 a while back. Better price than most other places you can pick one up for too.
  5. Not sure how similar these wheels are to remove centre compared to SSR Mesh wheels, but they should be able to be removed by undoing all the nuts and bolts then pretty much hammer the centre out. To make it easier to remove, take the tyres off or remove the pressure in the tyres. To reinstall the center, people have said that you need to torque each bolt up to a specific tightness to keep balance, but I've just tightened them all up by hand not knowing and everything's fine so far..
  6. Hahah yeah, definitely. Definitely go for performance if I had a GTR that's why I said I would rather fit tyres without stretching. Seeing that he wants that tough look, to me a tough look is wheels slightly out of modified guards (some cars look better with flared, some with only a roll and slight pump) and tyres stretched to tuck it under using camber and castor to avoid rubbing. It's all for looks. Your tyre wear will be shittier than most and handling will most probably be shit as well. hahaha
  7. You should really do a search, covered many times before. You can get GTR copy bumpers made to suit a GTSt, so no modifications needed at all depending on quality. If anything, you might need to modify the reinforcement bar to suit. Genuine GTR bars will fit on the standard guards, but you'll need to 'bend' it in. It can leave a slight gap below the headlights. Do a quick search for more details. My memory's not the best.
  8. Looking good. If I wanted that really low, tough look for a GTR, I would lower it so that tyres slightly tuck (not much, maybe 5-10mm) all round, roll those guards and adjust camber for a tighter fit. Should look pretty nice. I would personally try and get a tight fit without stretching tyres on a GTR though (by pumping guards slightly), but that's me... Post up new pictures once the car's all set up.
  9. You'll definitely need a roll if you want that low wide look. Definitely a roll, you might also need a light 'pump' depending on tyres and camber settings. Post up pics once it's on.
  10. They don't stick out far at all. Lower it so that the tyres are even with the guards then the wheel will camber in nicely. Life of the tyres might suck, but it'll look pretty tough. Edit: The guards don't even look like they've been rolled yet. Lower it, don't touch the camber as it goes down, roll the guards, you could probably do with a spacer as well for that 'how the f**k do you drive like that' look.
  11. Ah that's good to hear. Every other uni has started the new semester, I thought I might've read the wrong dates. Wonder what would happen if I found out I missed out on 3 weeks of school cause I thought school started later...
  12. Yep, I know the SSR's are SP1 and the Work are S1's. They're both big names in Japan, but it doesn't matter which one copied the other. They both look good.
  13. A quick google search I see you did there. I did the same and got that site too! hahah
  14. They'll stick out roughly 10-15mm outside of the guards depending on camber if I remember correctly. Should sit very nice with the right tyres, camber and height settings. I think the Meisters are worth more than SP1's. Heard somewhere the SSR's were 'copies' of the Work's. Not sure if that's true though. Edit: Price isn't bad..
  15. They're the same stud pattern, but I don't think they will have the right offsets for a Skyline and face design probably won't clear the 4 pot brakes.
  16. "ACE header wrap is a weave of the finest insulating materials, and can withstand temperature of up to 600° C. Keeping exhaust heat inside exhaust pipes maintains exhaust gas velocity, helps to increase combustion chamber scavenging and increases horsepower. Header wrap can also reduce bonnet temperature as much as 80% insulating both fuel and clutch lines, while protecting mechanic from injury." Quote from that vpw site. Anyone know if you can get these wraps in black?
  17. I've posted this on the other forums I regularly visit (ae86dc and rollaclub). We need to get the word out there.
  18. I would like to help out, but the link's dead.
  19. I didn't bleed my master, only my slave. Everything's all good so far so that's the main thing I guess.
  20. They'll be fine mate. Same rolling diameter as your old tyres too. Them clearing your guards or coilovers would be another issue.
  21. Your car's so farkin tough man!! So simple, but tough! Looks a lot like Abu's old car, but with the extra two doors. Keep it up mate.
  22. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wh...tml&hl=sp1* Take a look at that thread. Compare your specs to the thread opener's. Imagine what these wheels will look like using the offset calculator. If that's the look you're going for, go for it!
  23. Best to keep same tyre/wheel widths front and rear from what I've read. 18x10 +18's would be ideal for a bit of track action, but Abu doesn't want that. Going by his previous ride's wheels, he wants tyre on guard action. Bit hard to tell, but going by those pictures, you could probably fit some 10.5 0 offsets. Just think about what we thought about your last set of wheel's specs. In theory, they were WAY too extreme, but in reality, PERFECT! Don't be scared to get something that seems too aggressive.
