One of my good friends used to sell FPVs for 3 years. He owns a built XR6T. Being nearly 2 tonne the thing gets the power to the ground no problem at all. Every single suspension component has been upgraded so doesnt handle too bad. But as i said its a 2 tonne car. All the 8s are nuggets compared to the 6Ts. Even the GTs. Having driven all of them the pick would be a 6sp F6 auto. One of the quickest standard cars ive been in. And to the OP the Ford would be the safest bet, considering most skylines parked in Uni car parks go missing soon or later. You can park my friends car anywhere and you wouldnt know it had over 400kw.

Again its what you are using the car for. Daily or toy? Daily you could buy either but would have to be kept relatively lightly modded. Toy, there would be only one choice

You are looking at a 25k difference in price between the two. If you bought a GTT and spent 25k on it you would have a weapon of a car.

That is a fairly old turbo, is it just oil cooled? Ball Bearing? But for the sake of the rules put up a price.

The feed comes from the back of the engine, if you remover the drivers side rocker cover and look between the engine and firewall you will see it.

Turbo is removed from the car. It has been pulled apart and inspected, its perfect.

Just for reference. A friend has a R32 GTR with GT2530s, bigger injectors, E85 fuel and Haltech ECU. Everything else is stock including the cooler. Made 365awkw all day long. Now that summer has arrived he replaced the cooler with a stock R34 GTR cooler and with just the swap an 1psi more boost makes 385awkw. Nothing wrong with stock GTR coolers. I would just get the one that's within your budget.

Hmmm $690 is a pretty good price for drive in drive out (supplied) I think id rather pay the $190 and leave the headache to them lol
