once you have done the exhaust (go for a full system not just a cat back if anything they just make a lot of noise), the intercooler and gotten a boost controler talk to CEF11E. He should be able to retune your stock ECU for a reasonable price.

Hi, I am starting my 25/30 conversion shortly (Currently have the series 2 VL RB30 NA motor and an R33 RB25 head) I was just wondering with the turbo i want to go with (Garrett GT3540R looking for 350-370kw @ the rears). Would it make much difference going to an internal wastegate version over an external wastegate setup? The car will mainly be used as my daily driver with a few track days every now and then. Buy one with a factory computer, it will only do 180km/h that way. Or you could get an aftermarket rev limiter fitted. If it can only rev to 4k you have a max speed of ~140 in 5th (for an R33 anyway). It will not make for an exciting drive (speed wise). But shouldn't effect daily street driving.

The maths to work out how much power your injectors will handle is simple (there are more accurate ways but this is damn close) (CC of the injectors used) divided by 5 times 6 (the number of injectors used). That calculates how much power at the crank your injectors can handle at 100% duty. EG. 444 / 5 x 6 = 532hp @ 100% duty at the crank 550 / 5 x 6 = 660hp @ 100% duty at the crank 740 / 5 x 6 = 888hp @ 100% duty at the crank So running at 90% duty you could make around 480hp at the crank minus drive line losses using the 444's So running at 90% duty you could make around 600hp at the crank minus drive line losses using the 550's So running at 90% duty you could make around 800hp at the crank minus drive line losses using the 740's I have seen 444cc injectors holding 350+kw @ the wheels 12:1 AFR's. You don't need to run massive injectors to get the power figures you want.
