  1. Also much better on your ears than some of the formula fords that were out there
  2. Nice looking car and a decent power figure. However you should probably look at getting it engineered before you take it to dickson (and you will have to take it to dickson its too heavily modified for a normal inspection), they will bend you over backward and have their way with you so fast its not funny otherwise.
  3. you can get better turbos for the same money as a highflow and sell your stock turbo off if you upgrade. if your looking for a whole turbo kit you cant go past the HKS GT-RS kit $2900 from Sliding Performance (clicky for the link) and it comes with everything to bolt it onto the engine
  4. Front mount. boost control, and engine management. If you are keeping the stock turbo and cams there realy isnt any point doing much more than that to the engine as there are very minimal power gains to be made. But if you do feel the need to do the cam gears leave the intake cam alone as the VCT gives you a lot more mid range power than an adjustable cam gear will.
  5. Depends what power you are chasing. If the car already handles fairly well and your not looking for over ~200kw get a front mount, some form of engine management/ piggy back unit (Emanage ultimate, SAFC - PFC's for RB25's are getting to the $1300+ regions these days if you can find one) and get the car tuned. If you want more power than that your going to need to start looking at an upgraded turbo, injectors, a Z32 AFM, and clutch. A basic piggy back unit like the SAFC will not allow you to run these modifications correctly.
  6. It has come down to piston choice time. I am currently looking at the arias 9.2:1 and 9.5:1 CR pistons and i am trying to decide which set of pistons to go for. Aiming for around 350-370RWKW (mainly street use occasional track use) using a GT35R turbo. Which compression ratio would best suit my application?
  7. To the people inquiring about lag, he is running an RB30DET. From the dyno sheets i have seen they are normaly well on their way to making boost by 4000 rpm with the 1.06 rears.
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t55845.html look at what others have got. go for a turbo that suits the power you want. ie not a GT40 turbo for 250kw.
  9. There are two different stickers. The first one is a sticker saying change the timing belt at 100k km and one that says the timing belt has been changed at XX KM Sorry about the picture quality the camera phone doesnt do overly fantastic low light shots, but it should show you the difference in the stickers.
  10. Sorry, i no longer have the sump from this engine. No sorry, I do not have either of them.
  11. The Rainbow Sheikh begs to differ he built a replica 1950's Dodge power wagon, everything on it 64 times LARGER than the original. Inside the body there is a house and it is capable of 30km/h.
  12. Fixed.
  13. If you put a 1.2bar spring in your waste gate the minimum boost you will be able to set your controller to is 1.2bar. If you are going to be running high boost pressures you are better off running the higher spring rate as it will control boost far better than a .8 bar spring.
  14. Lol @ the number plate on that lambo.
  15. Genuine Greddy plennum (i recognise the bag of bits on the windscreen) Q45 Throttle body. By the looks of it nismo 740cc injectors? your wallet must be crying out in pain

  18. The XR6 turbo runs a .5 A/R compressor where as the Garrett unit runs a .7 A/R. as far as i am aware that is the only difference between the two units.
  19. If you have some electrical contact cleaner soak the old tape with it and it should just lift off the surface (make sure it doesn't damage what ever you are applying it to first). You can then clean up the remaining residue with an old cloth and a little more contact cleaner.
  20. i just drive my 33 daily. gets 13L/100km not exactly the worst figures out there.
