Wth the Qstarz BT-Q818 do you still have to do the resistor modification or is it purely a software modification with miniGPS or GpsView?

So you want to make the engine stronger but you want to bore it out to 87mm? If something happens and the engine does have to be re bored you have to go custom pistons next time. Why not get 86.5mm pistons or even 86mm if the bores are still good?

Its called driving off boost. That combined with a piggy back/aftermarket ECU where the load points up to 3000-3500 are leaned out a bit and its easy to get 400-500km from a tank, then the money you save on fuel pays for the upgrade.

Yes, but the PFC doesnt do anything about it, so unless you hear knock and keep into it whilst looking at the hand controller, or watch the hand controller whilst the car is driving, its not really much good unless you have datalogit. If you are running stock cams, there is no reason to go single throttle, the d-jetro will run it fine, just hook the map sensors up exactly as the instructions say. You don't have to be looking at the power FC controler to see if there is any knock, if the reading goes over 60 it flashes the "Engine check" light.

If Nissan want to lure people away from buying grey market imports. Charge ~$85,000 - 95,000 for the car, that way they make their profit and the consumer gets an Australian delivered car. The consumer then gets the benefits of warranty and none of the grey market insurance/compliance troubles.

My car runs twin 12" thermo fans i haven't had any heat related issues. When you hook it up use a relay to turn them on when the ignition is set to on.

I got a set of Tomei type A (8.5-8.8mm lift) RB25 valve springs and the guy that is fitting them to the head has said that the exhaust springs fit in perfectly but the intake springs aren't closing the valve fully. Is something else needed to fit the intake springs properly?

Al, Is that just paint on the intake piping/intake plennum?
