Thanks for the pics joe26f! THAT's what I'm after - looks awesome! I love the all black look... Tangles: I wouldn't mind the woodgrain all that much, but why did they have to put it on the steering wheel... that spoils it a bit for me. I don't think i'm desperate enough to paint it (erk) I don't think i'd make a very good job of painting plastic. Sourcing a standard interior, that sounds better. Where might I find some standard black plastic bits - besides yahoo.co.jp?

There's one on j-spec that sounds just like that... it's well under 10,000, cheap as. If 200 photos look ok then it could be a bargain... a stag for under 10,000! Good luck with it!

seen a couple around adelaide; a red S1 with an obvious plate which I think is on these forums... has a big web address on the top of the rear window which i can never read in time, seen it parked outside the Flagstaff primary school a few times... also a silver S1 at the hobby shop which sounded quiet as, and a niiiice silver S2 with some big chrome rims. All in little 'ol Adelaide... surprised there are so many stags in this little (well big) country town.

Will keep you in mind mike; seeing the pics of the silver interior they're not too bad. Would prefer black but I think they're still better than woodgrain (for me). I'll let you know how it pans out...

Damn... doesn't sound good ステージア a non-prime edition? Are the ones with leather all 'prime edition'? What's that? Hmm I wonder what the chances of finding someone to trade with would be... is there anybody out there with a S2 and the black interior who actually would want woodgrain that much? Oh, just realised... would still be stuck with a half-wooden steering wheel oh well. Thanks guys

Trying to find a S2 with leather but without woodgrain interior... had a scary thought: did all S2 stageas with leather come out with woodgrain? Am I gonna be stuck with it??? Edit: ---------- OK so I have learnt much since I posted this This was mainly thanks to the posts below... to summarise my findings (series 2 only, don't know about series 1): there was a leather option, which was leather seats & centre console lid thing. Then there was the Prime Edition, which had leather seats/centre console lid, PLUS woodgrain trim... and this it appears was the most common option where leather was concerned because it wasn't much more for the prime edition then the leather. But the silver/grey interior trim pieces are exchangeable with the woodgrain pieces, as is the wheel.

nice - are those rims 16's or 17's? In fact, does anyone know if the RS Four V-style double-spokes (5 spokes) like those came in 16's or are they 17's?

A pressure bleed like someone here suggested sounds like a good idea, just thought I'd say that I have seen master cylinders that you have to 'bench bleed'. When they're installed on the booster in the car, the master cylinder is often angled slightly upwards, with the end away from the firewall being higher. This allows an air bubble to become trapped in the master cylinder itself, and what the service manual for my bluebird recommended was to do a 'bench bleed' where you work the master cylinder by hand with it off the car and level on the bench, to get this air bubble out of the end of it. I experienced that problem and a bench bleed got my brakes back; don't know if this applies to clutches but I guess it might.

Do Stageas have automatic fold-back mirrors, like Mitsubishi FTOs, and some other imports? I thought it was a standard option, but in all the photos on here I haven't seen any folded back If they do have the option, is it on series 1 and 2? Cheers, David

Thanks everyone awesome to get some opinions on Stagea interiors; I think the interior is half of the motivation for getting a Stagea (for me any way) Funnily enough MRO pretty sure that pic' did come from Prestige site Looks pretty nice; yes leather S2 w/momo wheel... think that would be my pick. Stageas with the leather option from Prestige don't seem to cost any more than the cloth ones either.

Hi all, I reckon the interior of the Stagea is damn nice, and I wondered what do people think of the cloth interior vs the leather trim? Especially interested to hear from owners with the leather option... what's it like on a hot day? I originally saw and fell in love with the cloth interior style like the one here: I have seen this one in a couple of stag's in real life and I think it looks every bit as good as in the photos. It seemed to be the 'deluxe' trim in S1? I haven't seen any S2's with this trim so I guess it was only a S1 option, S2 cloth looks cool though as well (seem to be a few different styles with S2). Only thing I don't like about cloth is I reckon it couldn't last as well as leather: ...example of the leather S1/2's I have seen. Yeah I really need to test drive one or something to make up my mind but I'm a little way off that stage yet. So... which interior for you???

I think there's also a 'midnight blue' (at least S1)? Here are some pic's of a sold one: According to Prestige's page it's 'midnight blue', have seen a few others in that.

Hi all! ...sorry to comment on such an old post (and a little O/T)... but if you see this message Sydneykid (or anyone else who knows), you say above that "it has ABS and LSD" - are there really auto Stageas with LSD? All I have read says that the 260RS had "mechanical LSD", and that it was an option on the manual S2's. From that I assumed that the autos didn't have any kind of LSD? Or do they have an electronic version or something?
