I don't think it will be possible to control a different alarm with the Nissan remote as alarms are usually pretty unique in their controls/coding. Never heard of this being done before... but glad to be corrected

Would this one fit? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t187748.html Edit: Sorry just read about the trans cooler issue... was going to suggest a davies craig cooler like sydneykid's setup; then I remembered that the trans fluid gets piped through the bottom of the radiator to WARM it up too to get it up to operating temp as quick as possible. So I don't know if that aluminium job would be suitable; but if it could be made to fit into a C34 chassis it sure looks like it would keep the engine cool

Hi all, Sorry to dig up an old topic My S2 will be on a ship soon ( ) and I want to save my xenons... this topic showed up most promising in my searching. The compliance guy has basically said that they get butchered, and that it's not possible to install the halogen kit without ruining the xenon setup, basically suggested I should do it myself... so I was just wondering if anyone had any photos (I think someone asked earlier in the thread) of the 'ballast' unit (sounds more like a DC-DC converter?) and globe mounting arrangement, especially of a S2 with the halogen kit installed? Anybody know what hardware I'll need, and where to get it? Thanks for any pics! DaveB

You probably want to check the "Importing Vehicles" forum; there are a lot of experiences listed there. The two biggest import brokers I have heard of are Prestige Motorsport and J-Spec; have heard excellent things about both. But yeah check http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/f85.html

Perhaps check ECU for error codes? If it's a bad sensor somewhere it should show up there shouldn't it? Anybody who knows the ECU error code check procedure for a S2 stagea able to help here?

So is that true, that the S2 Dayz rear lower lip spoiler bit actually bolts on to the standard S2 rear bumper, even a S2 that wasn't optioned with the Dayz lip? It's just that I was looking at a couple of photos and thought that it looked like the standard S2 bar had a different piece molded onto the bottom - pics follow: ...notice the last sort of "crease" (as I'll call it) at the bottom, followed by a section which is kind of rounded underneath... sorry I'm not explaining very well... but on the Dayz version: On the Dayz version it's definitely a two-piece affair... I am thinking of importing a lip spoiler but need to confirm that it will bolt up to the standard bar in the first picture. Thanks... daveb

Hi guys, I hope I'm not asking a question which has been asked before - I have searched. Just like to confirm I have this correct... Does this mean that a 33 GTST rotor will fit the front of a series 2 stagea, *with* machining down of 6mm? Or without machining? And same with 32 GTR to fit rear of series 2 - it needs the 5mm reduction of OD? Not talking about the DBA rotors, but stock 33 GTST and 32 GTR parts. Thanks! daveb
