when i got the car i was getting about 280-300km per tank although the right foot was abit heavy. got powerfc tuned a few weeks back and with same sort of driving as when got the car getting about 450km per tank so im happy. the powerfc will pay for itself one day:).
does everyone tend to fill up when fuel light comes on or really drain it right down most of the time?
have the above problems been sorted with Nengun? about to order some stuff so wanna make sure its all good. anyone know or ordered recently and its been fine?
thanks for reply. the only thing is that it only started happening after i put the power fc in...it jumps between 1200-1400 then drops back to normal. with stock ecu i could coast to a stop and idle was fine, thats what has confused me.
i had the same sort of questions when doing mine was very lost on how to do it. with mounting the pipe higher you have to check that the bonnet wont push it back down or move it when closed and be pressing against it all the time. In terms of the actual cooler it might be that the pipes are at a different angle a bit so make sure they are in enough and secure as you dont want them blowing off when you driving off but cooler should be able to move from side to side slightly anyway before fully tightening.
i tapped a nipple in where you did and all everything seems fine...been about 3 months so i dont think it matters or at least it didnt with mine. I have no idea with regards to second question.
i got the same kit for a 33gtst and you will have to cut the fan blades unless you do what BAMR33 said and muck around with it and mount it higher. If you do this then the mounting points might not line up so there are a few things to consider. you can also get a new pipe made up for this bit and use other pipes that come with the kit but thats more expense.

I have been reading everyones guides(especially paul) and been a great help so far thanks heaps.
had my car tuned with powerfc and most things are fine but if i coast up to lights or stop sign in neutral the idle sits at about 1200rpm but then when i come to a complete stop it drops back to usual about 750rpm. anu ideas on what is going on? other than this idle is prefectly stable all the time.
