  1. spotted a stag just off grey street south Brisbane at the rear of Mirvac on Monday morning... pearl white with stock 16" rims. Spotted a pearl white dayz stag with black roh rims, GTR badge on front grill and rice cannon out back at aspely pick and pay hypermarket on saturday/sunday
  2. me and some mates bastardised a MS 33 kakimoto exhaust (oval type) to fit my S1 stag... we neded to extend it a bit - and then redo some of the bends - and it fouls against a crossmember somewhere and gets anoyying at times - our biggest problems seem to be caused by the fact that the fuel tank and rear muffler space are different ... and basically it didn't fit snuggly without some alterations - and it still isn't 'clean'.. it works fine - but it's not a nice sharp job. I would just fork out the money next time and get a SS cat back from HKS or whatever and save yourself all the dicking around and possibly being dissapointed by an inferior result... that being said - it was kinda fun to do and i learnt how to weld
  3. last time i checked it was moulded to the entire front grille.. so you would have to purchase a new stagea grille from a WGC34 chassis model, plastic weld it or modify it somewhat in order to fit it to the axis grille.. yeah... not so easy as a simple part number
  4. better yet- she's going to be extradited from the apple isle for uni... hahaha.. my victory is complete
  5. spotted debagged 32 gtr around launceston the otha day - peace... stagea forgot her asthma puffer so i couldn't catch you plenty of lines around the joint down there - half of them driven by old dudes... also spotted a gunmetal grey 32 around kingston spotted stage-name and his white stagea around hobart spotted a 34GT around lots (gday alex... get a turbo already farkin) Had a great trip down to tassie and the stagea has finally made its wayback to brisbane - only one more epic trip to townsville and back ad then she can recieve some much earned TLC... Cheers guys
  6. ok... so let me get this straight... we have an S2 RB25head??? and NEO exhaust ports/studs??? wtf are you on???? there's no way! you couldn't have a NEO head without NEO cams, contiusouslyvariable valve timing... and an accomodating ECU- what????you have mef reaking confused... and then on top of that someone said that R33 S2 poncams don't fit- only R34 NEO ones do... can someone explain what people are going on about... sorry to diverge from a great tune and job done on Cy/Bernards car...but it has been discussed here and i think it needs to be sorted out before someone makes expensive mistakes and starts buying stuff on 'misleading' presumptions... please explain what you think is the issue... and is it just your car???
  7. yellowS2 on the mainstreet of Gympie Yesterday...you waved...
  8. hahaha nomate-no springs-springs have been sent down tasmania in advanceandi will install them down there... still in brisbane at the moment... yeah - strange tyre dudereduced my camber... fool... I will takephotoes andlet you know whe i install them... and igot confirmation that theirsize is thesame as GTR but installed upside down togetmore space in the rear ind... ifthat helops damnspacebaris broke... sorry...
  9. OK.. i just got a alignmnet in preparation for my trip down to tassy.. i remember there being something important about rear toe on stagea/gtr setups... meh... stock ride height (or close enough - stock springs on bilsteins) but here i go: rear camber -ve 0.03' left +ve 03' right toe -ve 0.4mm left, -ve 1.5mm right front castor +ve 4.45' left +ve 3.33' right camber -ve 1.08' left -ve 0.22' right Toe +0.3mm left -0.4mm right so perfect for a commodore - but i thought there was a reason the insides of our tires wore out and we had rear toe... or am i on crack again... what'dya all think ey??? remember this isn't for racing with - it's for driving down the entire east coast in
  10. need me to drive them down to brissy Cy??... i can pick them up Tuesday... .. unless i buy them... i can;t decide on them or CAI's - or 34GTR - or emergency moneys for my trip to tassy...
  11. very very cool Joe... great idea. Sorry i will be away for this. Stuff like this really seperates us from the 'hoons ' in the public eye methinks... good work Well done.
  12. Hey Joe... so you got convinced yeah??? +1 to the family wagon!!!!!!!!! I have no idea why it is doing what it is doing... mine never did.. but i replaced the stock boost solenoid before i did any exhaust or induction mods so my situation was never identical to yours. What about taking it for another test drive, putting a boost tap in your pocket, pulling over, whacking the boost T in, giving it a good strap, whacking it out again and then returning it?????? ...or is that just dodgy and bad... - sorry...
  13. thanks grandmasterben - I'll take you up on those wheelsatnds ;D PM'ed... Cheers - Chris
  14. didn't we establish that ur kit was c west or something???
  15. 40 bucks for a boost tap - don't run above 10-12 psi daily or it will say goodbye to you.
  16. herooo... STAGEA onwer from townsville here. I am driving down for a wedding circa new years (in the bridal party and the stagea is going to be the car for the bridesmaids - the blokes have the 34) and I have two questions... 1: should i be worried about QLD legal mods down there (boost tap, secured pod filter (not enclosed), zaust and lowered or should i be fine? 2. does anybody have wheelstands that i can borrow whilst i am down there. I won't actually have the lowered springs until just before i leave so i am driving down with my stock suspension in most probably... lowering it for the wedding whilst i am down there, and then driving back up. I have everything else i need (spring clamps, ratchet, breakerbar, etc etc)... unless you have a hydraulic jack too which would make life a little easier than using that bloody mechanical thing.
  17. SSS auto (02) 9896 6111 they quoted me $450 +GST and freight from memory for both sides.
  18. what series RB25DET? - Series 1 or series 2 - and which CAS? Hitachi or the earlier metal one? or does it not matter??
  19. Yeah - it is still on. Cause sydney kid went on holidays i was dealing mostly with matthew instead of SK but it still went fairly seamlessly - except for the wait for springs. I have had to wait about 6 weeks start to finish to get them here (they get mailed from SK to my address today apparently). The biggest wait was for the springs which had to be cold wound in Japan - and because whiteline obviously don't ahve huge demand for stagea springs - you have to wait for around a month until they do the next run (having to reset up the jog or whatever and all that for it... it's an understandable delay) ORder ASAP - and then you just sit on your hands and wait - Matthew (from superior suspension) has been very persistent with replying to my weekly inquiries regarding where everything was at which was very accomodating of him. Go through SydneyKid as per usual (use the PM function to initiate the deal) - use the system that he set up - don't go straight to Superior suspension. He'll take care of you from there... it will just take time. RESPECTA!!!!!!!
