  1. Probly a boost leek or exhasut leek. Also i found when putting my rb25 turbo on (45v2) the AFR before 5000rpm is 13:1 so very lean which wont help. you might have craked a spark plu or not put the coil packs back on.
  2. Hey man need instructions for putting it on ipod/ iphone. im new to ipod app loading.
  3. I did a RB25 turbo swap on my RB20DET R32. Just thought I would put some points/tips up for first time users. it is best to remove all intercooler piping The oil line on top of the turbo- Find the end (on side of block) and undo this helps heaps when pulling turbo out or placing back in. Coolant line on outside (non eng side) find and the end near the block and loosen this will help with pulling turbo out and placing back on. Best to undo the bolts for the dump pipe. Although it can be removed with turbo just makes it a bit harder. You will lose a lot of coolant and some oil when doing this.
  4. cheers jonno. it's about 9psi atm.
  5. I have a HKS ADJ acctuator on my rb25 turbo, Just wondering how you adj these as i wona run 12psi.
  6. Or bin it and get the turbotech boost controller of ebay for about $30. I borrowed my mates turbo smart manual boost controller (an older desing) and that had cronic boost spike (up to 15psi then back to 10psi) ive brought the turotech boost controller and it is awsome. doesn't spike at all since ive had it and is very easy to use and you dont have to wind it mush to see a diffrence about 1/4 turn for 1psi. would sugest it mate.
  7. I still have the stock on mine and its going fine at 140rwkw but for peace of mind and at only a few hundred buckes go the 040. #2 Yep do it, if you can get the 45v2 (the series 2 turbo) #3 after putting my rb25 turbo on i have 13:1 (dangeresly lean) AFR untill 5000 rpm were it fuel dumps and the AFR become 11.5: (what you wont the whole time) also i gained 2 rwkw (rb20 turbo at 14psi) with the boost set at 5psi. #4 go with nistune ist about $480 plus tune. #5 im hopeing for 160-170 rwkw at 12psi.
  8. Got a RB20DET turbo dump and front pipe. after $200 firm, will post at buyer's exspence. turbo had done 100000km was running stock boost when i brought the car. call or xt 0411895116 brentt
  9. Ok just put a 45v2 turbo (rb25 series 2) on to my r32 Rb20 and a 3" front and dump pipe. Tuner is a idiot and had the boost set at 5psi but still made 2rwkws more than the rb20 turbo at 12psi. When i got the dyno sheet the AFR starts at 13.5:1 and dumps to 11:1 at around 5500rpm. the bottom end of the power graph is a bit lazy. Just wondering apart from getting a new ecu and retuning it, is their any other way of richerning the AFR? I also have the following. RS*R 3" cat back drift pod filter turbo tech boost controller. I do wont to run it at 12PSI
  10. Ok just removed my stranded rb20 turbo dump and front pipe from my r32 GTS-T. Has done 100 000km all in good nick, turbo has only being on 12psi for the last 3 weeks. Chasing $200 and will freight/post at buyer’s expense. Call 0411895116 as I’m not on that often. Best after 5pm darwin time. it is located in Darwin.
  11. Up in the NT it's 130km/h (and fun), altho we have only about 120,000 people our death told is low, considering we face the following. rouge wild life (esperly out of darwin area, people crossing the road with out warning in pitch black, 4 full lenth trailer road trains that sway every wear. I believe it should be brought in for all rual roads were it's two lanes per side.

  13. 1989 R32 GTS-t AUTOl 4 Door Stock turbo Boost 14psi (on the run, now at 12psi Stock cooler 3in RS*R cat back Drift small pod. 136RWKw TEMP: 32 Humitity 95%
  14. You would have to speek to some one about the turbo i would say $1300-$2000 Nistune ecu is about $450. (www.nistune.com) bosh 040 $300 (what i payed last time) tune $300-$500
  15. Ok just did this on my R32 GTS-T auto (4 door) the wires listed above are correct except for the on wire (green to black with yellow stripe) this is in fact the black wire with white strip in the r32 GTS-T so wires as follows. Red (acc)= white wire red stripe Blue (constant) = blue wire Green (on)= black wire white stripe.
  16. Pretty easy using the basics. FMIC 3" turbo back exhasut up graded turbo (garret GT3071R maby?) ecu (nistune? Higher flow fuel pump (bosh 040?)
  17. Ok brought the apexi na/ turbo, turbo timer. Need to know which wires on a r32 gtst are used as the: timer red goes to +12V constant (white + red stripe from ign for R33) timer blue goes to ACC signal (blue from ign wiring R33) timer green goes to ON signal (black + yellow stripe from ign wiring R33) The info above was gained thew the DIY forum but was done on a R33.
  18. Well it's stop detonating. Now at 12psi with 98ron fuel.
  19. ok lets get it back on topic. It's my choice to SMIC so we will leave it at that. How can i tell if the coilpacks are dying?

  25. if you read the other post with keven krudd, he wonts to incresse the drinking age to 21. I was in the USA last year for and altho i could drink alot of my mates were under 21 and couldn't however this did not stop them from attaning booz. "The drinking rates of young teenagers is going through the roof, and hugely affecting their ability to, frankly, manoeuvre a car." . .The Prime Minister said that young adults being legally able to drink and to drive from around the same age, is a factor in P-Plater deaths on the road. Read more: Kevin Rudd Wants Legal Drinking Age Lifted To Curb P-Plater Deaths | Reviews | Prices | Australian specifications http://www.themotorreport.com.au/49615/lif...r#ixzz0q3bnyB9R “It’s alarming to see that some young drivers continue to underestimate the influence of alcohol consumption on their driving skills, with one in six (15 percent) believing it is okay for them to drive after a few drinks as long as they feel capable,” AAMI Corporate Affairs Manager Yves Noldus said.
