It's a bit of a cop out that they do the test at such high RPM. How many of us actually drive around revving our cars that hard to make that much noise on a regular basis? not that many.. You get the occasional few but still, it's not like you're going to sit on 4800rpm through a suburban street at night pumping out that 100db. Good luck getting it sorted out, unfortunate to hear they've fined you for such petty items.
  5. Spotted GTR-53X yesterday in Blacktown parked outside the gym/rockclimbing/cafe on third ave
  6. btw think i got the date the wrong way around, 03/99 build
  7. Prod: 9/9/03 Colour: KR4 Model: R34 GT-R V-Spec Transmission MT.F6 Int Color: G
  8. Don't do it soon, do it now. It's somebodys pride and joy and if its left sitting there it could be torched or stripped in an instant.
  9. Did you call the Police?
  10. FC3S RX-7 Turbo..
  11. Still looking around If you've got a 32 GTSt for sale or seen anything in good nick around let me know. Budget is approx $14k
  12. Could still be the AFM if it's faulty. I'd get the sensors etc checked when getting PFC fitted, and chuck a Z32 AFM on while you're at it, then see how it goes
  13. Anyone had any issues with Brant? I hear in one hear they're a bit unreliable, and in the other I hear they're great. The features on paper look very attractive, but what's the point if it doesn't work half the time, lol.
  14. Hey Guys, Dave & I cleaned the AFM on his car last night. So far it seems a bit better but time will tell as it hasn't been taken for a good drive yet. Will let you know how that goes. If you have any further suggestions or comments let us know! FYI; It's running 11psi. Ryan
  15. So just to clarify; Which would be more advisable? I've got RB20DET, and I'm PFC shopping: a) AP Engineering PFC for RB20 = $1450 b) Apexi PFC for R33 RB25 = $950 c) Apexi PFC for RB26 = $950 Which would I be best off buying? Is the AP worth the extra $500, or should I just adapt one of the others to my engine (if so, which is better?) Regards, Ryan
  16. Ok, So Viper alarms aren't available any more - and it seems lots of cars with these alarms are getting stolen anyhow. It also appears Brant is no more. Those were the only two alarms I knew of being decent. So what's the latest and greatest these days, and who's the best person to fit it? I need something tip top. My car won't have comprehensive insurance for a while, So I want to make sure it's got the best alarm protection available. There's so many on the market now, but what's the hardest to crack? Regards, Ryan
  17. haha you know what else any of you whiteboys notice they seem to always offer us white people the deep fried dishes mostly? fark!!
  18. hahaha Adam..... Golden Century (or is it golden harbour? cant remember, it's in the main strip of chinatown next to the big chinese gate things) doesn't have attitude for me any more 'cause I only go with my g/f and she's chinese, plus I usually sling them the odd gesture in chinese... It sucks though, if you and your friends aren't chinese and don't speak chinese most chinese restaurants give you a bit of the cold shoulder.. I feel like punching them when they do that, it's so rude
  19. Depends what you like.... I usually eat asian food so..... Jap BBQ @ Nagoya in chinatown Hotpot @ Shencheng on sussex (it's in an arcade) Yumcha (lunch) @ Golden Century, Chinatown OR, Yumcha (lunch) or good dinner (Peking Duck etc) @ Regal in Chinatown too Theres others but I cant remember right now... plenty of places around!
  20. A Fan isn't advisable as it will most likely melt. Either leave the cover off, or, perhaps make a customised mesh cover. Cover off would be easiest though.
  21. Congrats! You're so lucky complete dummies stole your car. I can't believe anybody would be driving a stolen car in public like that, and even stupid enough to keep stolen goods at their workshop! IDIOTS!! Worked in your favour though that's for sure!!
  22. Hi All, Just looking around at options as far as wheels go and R32 GT-R stockers are looking pretty appealing to me. I was interested to hear from those who have fitted R32 GT-R rims to their R32 GTS-t's, specifically those with lowered suspension. Did you find it scraped out much? I'm assuming guard rolling is advisable. With the guards rolled and the car lowered is the fit reasonable? I don't particularly want the hassle of scraping out and rubbing 24/7. I've found a few answers but would like a few more opinions first. Regards, Ryan
  23. Go the 300D Nice shots buddy!
