  1. Whats the bet it won't be ready
  2. Sorry 5pm is no chance for me on a week day
  3. Fallout 3 is buggy. Wait till the first real patch comes out.
  4. Sheez where to start When I'm not working for money or working on the car, I'm driving the car or maybe dreaming of buying parts for the car. I spend far too much time on forums. I'm often thinking what would make a good event for Skylines ACT or other groups/friends I am associated with. Yes I play Fallout 3 currently and other assorted games when time or GF permits I browse auctions for interesting things, just purchased a coin operated candy machine and a new house today I spend time with the family, including the pets. They all need time. I practice martial arts and occasionally get roped into instructing I cook & clean and do general household stuff, now that really passes the time. And lastly I occasionally sleep.
  5. I've already purchased unfortunatly. Should be a good show.
  6. I was the GTR. Sorry I had to run off so quickly. Sounds like you should have a car ready for wheels display in March.
  7. Ditto, thanks
  8. Great turn out everyone. Huge success. The banner looked great. Big thanks to Stinkypoo for the use of the R31 banner poles as we seemed to be missing something. I have the poles at my house. We ended up with about 16 cars all up, and considering the weather, that was huge. Special guest apparence by a tough R34 GTR towards the end, and we might just see it's younger sibling at "Wheels" in March. We need to encourage a few more skylines to attend the "Wheels" event, particularly those many R33 and R34 GTRs in Canberra. If you know of someone, please invite them. If we get enougth GTRs attending we will make a special formation for them.
  9. A quick update, I'm running a little late this morning. I spoke to the organisor last night and he said he would organise a different location and tell everybody at the fotsal stadium. (wet park = no traction for 2wd's). We might end up at DFO??? who knows. There has been no email to say it has been cancelled. UPDATE: Just confirmed, it is still on and at the same location. MICK!!! please bring the tent early. Everyone else, bring some umbrellas until it fines up.
  10. Just to bring some life back in the thread. The latest Motor magazine has a comparo with the Federal Evo's and Federal 595RS-Rs. They don't perferm the best being 5-20% off the pace of comparable tyres tested, but they retail for 40-60% less. Get the mag and have a read. Maybe we should offer them a skyline to test the tyres on next time instead of a shitty hatch.
  11. Just a quick note to say if it is wet, an alternative location will be found. I will post urther information in the event of bad weather.
  12. It is so HUGE... A little blocky up close but no one will miss us.
  13. I have the banner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Now now ladies..... The R31 comment was before we had everyone including some cool DR30's turning up. The more the merrier

As some have suggested we will leave the Futsal Stadium in R31-R32-R33-R34-V35-V36-R35 order, gts-t's before GTR's. I know we probably won't get any R31's or V series cars but the order is there in case they appear. This is as much for me as anyone else, please wash your car, this is a display showing your beast in all it's beauty. Please let me know who's coming and what car you are bringing
  16. Yea, we can start washing out cars for this event. http://www.actew.com.au/News/ArticleDetail.aspx?id=923 ACTEW Managing Director Mark Sullivan has announced short-term relief from water restrictions through Canberra’s BIG spring clean, which will run from Saturday 15 – Sunday 30 November. For this two-week period (three weekends), current Stage 3 Water Restrictions will be slightly relaxed to allow a ‘spring clean’ of the city. The washing of windows, buildings, paved areas and vehicles will be allowed using potable water (drinking/tap water), provided the cleaning is done using water responsibly and within ACTEW’s guidelines.
  17. While you can not disable it totally, you can disable it enougth to do a burn out. For the R33 pull the 15amp fuse from the right hand side of the fuse pack.
  18. Ditto. It does look so slow in video from that angle
  19. I wish I could get my old man into my car. He's driven it once and never again.
  20. Great Pics, so did you do any deals that you can tell us?
  21. Much appreciated. Do you want a lift?
  22. Well with -7's the 2.8 will be super responsive, great for the track.
