Fair call. All I can suggest is throw out a WTB or skim the FS sections for the airbox and BOV. Someone might lend you a SMIC, you never know. If you're running stock boost though, a SMIC is pretty much all you need; but I can understand the desire for the FMIC and filling the hole at the front Again, as I said, black mesh and paint the FMIC black. I'll take some closeups of my beaten up front bar on the weekend or something. Bit rough to be hitting up a 44 year old though Lemme guess, Penrith? I've heard a few things about the force out that way...

Given that we're Australia's largest Skyline group, police DO regularly read these pages. I'm not sticking up for anyone here, I can see both sides of this. While I don't agree with hiding in the bushes etc, I agree with other things they do (personally I'd like to see them just cruising around more often; much more of a deterrent for Commodore drivers and P-Platers wanting to be idiots). In the same token, while Nathan is getting targeted (whether it be unfairly or not, as people have said, the numberplate may be recorded in their database as a known "hoon" car or something), and is making an effort to make things right (and props to you too, took me ages to bother with anything like that), and I understand it's a daily driver, the point is he's aware of the targeting and the best way to mitigate a risk of being pulled over again is to not drive it. *shrug* Plenty of bits and pieces for either side here. EDIT:: And yeah, Joel, I've owned my car almost 4 years now, and when I get pulled over for RBT I'm polite, have a bit of a laugh ("had anything to drink tonight?" "hah, i wish!"), and be helpful. It's not doing it cause I wanna get let off, it's because being nice costs nothing, and they're doing a job they might not particularly want to be doing. I know what I'd rather be doing than standing on the side of the road getting people to blow into things: LOTS.

I'm on the fence on this one. In one regard they catch those idiots doing 180 etc that give me the shits. On the other hand, driving home from work today: Had a Aurion Sportivo with headlights and fog lights on at what, 5.30pm, constantly provoking me and riding right up my ass to get me to push it (I had a massive gap in front), then I look closer, there's the little camera/flashy bits on the dash. I DON'T THINK SO. I'd given NO indication over the last 5km that I was going to speed or do something stupid, so, let's try and bait him to get the fine out of him! Nice to see even though other people were going around me at 5-10km/h over. I can't wait for the day that entrapment laws are made in Australia. Ridiculous. Only reason I would have considered speeding up would be so I can slot into another lane so he can piss off and get off my ass.

Paint intercooler black, put black mesh (autobarn spec) in front of it. Works so far for me (almost 4 years now)... Sympathies; however once you change your air box back to stock and the BOV, it keeps the car a lot quieter too, so you should be fairly sweet. But def. pick up a SMIC etc for the testing.
