  1. Give Mike Dale a call - http://www.yellowpages.com.au/sa/holden-hill/mike-dale-automotive-13732880-listing.html Tell him Ryan from SA Rally sent you.
  2. I had a rally mate who fitted R32 GTR brakes to the front of his GTiR, ground it back enough to leave a silver machined face, never seemed to be an issue, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Only talking about 3mm aren't you? Wheels look good. How much in the end? What are you doing for tyres?
  3. If I didn't want a Stag so bad, I would have bought an S15. Clean, unmodified ones are cheap as these days, and I did see a couple I really liked. I don't see why you'd want to sell right when you get it running properly?
  4. Youll change your mind again Im sure... If youre looking for rwd manual just get an s15?
  5. Really? If its going to reset itself i cbf playing with it!
  6. That link also says 350z track is the non Brembo, but thats touring. Track has Brembo, which makes a good upgrade for M35s. Ironpaw has a set and he seems happy with them.
  7. Well I've seen the complicated procedure on here, but to be honest last time disconnecting the battery worked. Won't be too hard either way, plenty of threads on here.
  8. Superlows? Depends on how much you want to lower it, but I wouldn't want to lower mine 45mm, it'd scrape everywhere!
  9. Good weekend for the Stag... New front rotors arrived, courtesy of my new friends at DBA. DBA 4000 series rotors with the new Clubspec T3 slotting: Not going in until the BCs arrive, probably just before the SA cruise And no more pirate spec, got one of my new spot lights in: Thanks to Simon Michelmore for giving me a hand working out the mounts for it. Ended up clearing all the broken glass out, and drilling into the old plastic mount to screw into the standard Narva bolt holes. Worked ok, not ideal. You can also see in the above photo that there's a fair gap around the light, so now I'm thinking maybe a set of squid rings to fill the gap? Has transformed the front end: Before I do the other one, I might move the light forward slightly so I can angle it up a bit. Also have to find a better spot to mount the HID ballasts. Anyone happen to have a broken fog light I could grab? I need to break the light to make my mounting setup work, and rather work with an already broken one if possible? Oh, and I stuffed up and turned the car to 'ON' (without firing) with the AFM disconnected... so guess who has to remove the check engine light this week?
  10. I'm training for the City to Bay, but I'm a fat bastard. It'll take me a fair while before I can run! He's come forth with a couple of more credible threats today, so I've forwarded all the info to the police and see if they think it's worth worrying about. I'm not hard to find at all, but I'm not sure if this guy's two brain cells can get together and discuss how they can do that.
  11. Interesting way to spend a day... Yeah basically guy steals photos, crops watermark out, and uses it to promote business. Is asked to remove it, doesn't, is named and shamed, and people posted on his wall. He replied with epic hilarity including threats, calling people c**ts, and talking about testosterone shakes. Trolls move in. Epic lols had by all. Except the guy whos business it is, who now wants to find me and kill me...
  12. Ok, lets resume our regularly scheduled program. Are the C34s going to turn up or have they all rusted apart?
  13. I bought a HKS filter from the guy in NZ, easy to deal with. Apparently Autobarn stock Blitz oil filters, which are just as good. I'm also running a Blitz panel air filter which I'm happy with.
  14. UNDER the airbox. Not next to it
  15. That would make sense, but a search around online says the figure varies considerably depending on the car (obviously). But AWD autos have the most drivetrain loss, and figures I saw thrown around online were between 25-35% loss. If this figure is constant, which would make sense, maybe it's 25-35% off the stock figure?
  16. Yep, the page is done now. The trolls are pouring in from the forums, they don't even know why they're going mental, but they're going to do it anyway. No one has any control anymore. The business won't survive. And I've had confirmation it made it onto reddit, 4chan, most Aussie car forums, and was seen as far away as the Netherlands. I'm starting the writeup of the post mortem now. There are already a couple floating around.
  17. I was always told AWDs had ~60% at the wheels, so 40% driveline loss, and RWDs had ~70%, so 30%. That would make it 124kW atw if stock was 206kW with 40% loss?
  18. You also can't alter it and then use it to promote your business, which it could be said is for financial gain. Which is where it would have ended. Instead he decided to call everyone names and threaten to tear them apart. Great PR. It has reached the Netherlands.
  19. And then I get great random messages like this: And Adrian, yeah you're right, and instead of deleting the comments and/or dealing with the issue, they decided to abuse all and sundry, and as they abused one person, 10 joined in, and word spread. They did a great job at making sure it spread like wildfire, turning into a case study on how not to deal with customers. I'm not joking. I've had media inquiries, and I've been asked to write an article on it.
  20. Did I mention I work in marketing, with two full time social media gurus?
  21. Someone started a #sidewaysautomotive hash tag. But most of it has gone on within #sminoz So Aus social media are checking it out. It's just been tweeted by 27bslash6, who has over 100,000 followers. And the owner of the business may want to kill me... All he's said so far is that he'll find me.
  22. Yeah. Mine too. It's gone massive. I've got threats, Twitter is going mental, and the guy has destroyed his business except within his circle. To say it's a mess is an understatement. But if my Stag goes missing, I know where to look
  23. Sorry about that... my fault... Now it's all over Twitter. Gone global too. Gold!
  24. My sister had to report someone for that once. She automatically paid via paypal, then the guy said he didn't accept Paypal, and wouldn't transfer the goods until he paid by bank transfer. Gee the gene pool is shallow in some spots...
  25. Isn't that against ebay Terms of Service.
