  1. Geez what's with all the agro :S
  2. It sucks - I hate having gone back to factory yellow parkers next to the Xenons; Looks absolutely *stupid* At least I've managed to keep LEDs for interior bulbs, map lights, etc!
  3. Nope, cos I had the factory xenons in there with the 4300K bulbs (they pinged me for those too)
  4. Be wary that if there's any blue in your parkers, that it's defectable (Had it added to an existing exhaust defect on inspection for 'too blue' parkers cos i had white LEDs installed).
  5. From what I recall it's about 345mm eyebrow height (ie: from the middle of the wheel to the guard). SA Transport document They've since replaced the document on their website with one with almost no info, so this one should still be good.
  6. Ugh .. that kinda angers me. 1. Take promo girls 2. Try and teach them to drive 3. ??? 4. Profit ... Why can't they just take actual female car enthusiasts, or ones already in the scene and look at those instead. This is just pure sensationalism and really all about 'looks' and attracting the male audience rather than something 'real'. My 2c.
  7. Wish it still had the wing on it
  8. ... i reckon that's where I was going wrong on the really tight curves then - things just wouldnt adhere, or they'd adhere - and then a few days after wrapping it, it would just come off. The adhesive, when was working seemed really week to be honest - have to wrap almost immediately after taking the backing off or it quickly lost its sticking-power. Either way, I think I'll get you (Charles89) to handle some of my more tricky parts (lots of curves) ... I've wasted so much material trying so far
  9. Same way you gotta do 'em on R34 sedans .. I been pondering giving my other car - N14 SSS - the same treatment...
  10. Primer? What are you using the primer for, Charles?
  11. .. And be careful even with 'so-called' white LEDs. My car had DAN-666 'white' LEDs which when I was forced through a Regency defect inspection for my exhaust, they added my 'too blue parkers' to the list of things to the *new* defect list. Awesome.
  12. That's exactly what my HICAS used to do - steering wheel rolled over. Then when you hit 110kph, that's when HICAS turns off - steering wheel snaps straight, and it's a scary experience. In this situation, though - my HICAS light wasn't on. Either way, I ended up talking to Nissan about it and they used their CONSULT to check it out. Turned out the HICAS steering sensor was off compared to where the wheel was. Basically when the steering wheel was straight, HICAS thought it was at an angle. Basically what I had to do was get the HICAS system reset, and have the steering rack straightened up compared to what the steering angle sensor thought. It's been perfect since. I'm sure Nissan can advise and probably fix it for you. (Bit difficult to get it straight without the steering angle sensor output).
  13. I had a Brant (in reality just a re-badged Sanji alarm), but have since moved to an Autowatch - though I did keep the key-pad based immobiliser - it's kinda cool .. hehe. Autowatch is awesome - highly recommended to anyone.
  14. Oh my god! Do want. DAN666 - Do you suppose you'll do them for R34 Sedan as well? (Depending on cost, I reckon I'd be more than happy to post up to you to convert if that's what it takes... ) I've looked at options from ImportMonster/YahooAuctions, but it's crazily expensive and seems about the only options for LED tail-lights on sedan
  15. D2R xenons are very expensive over the counter; You could be talking $200-300 for a pair, easy. Getting them online is a lot cheaper. However - this assumes you still have the xenon ballast, cabling, plugs, etc to hook it all up to. A D2R bulb looks like this: ... totally different plug to what you have now. But the base (with trimming), and the light source of the bulb is about the same as a H7 bulb (which is why they're sometimes used for compliance purposes, I believe).
  16. Trimmed H7's is what I used when I did a dodgy conversion job to pass Regency (as I run D2R xenons - that's what came with the car when I bought it - freshly complied). (Side note: I'm sure I already replied to this earlier with pretty much above - but my post seems to have gone missing...)
  17. lol .. i gotta get me one of those too ..
  18. Pretty sure from what I've read the symptoms you're describing with the noise (with pressing clutch pedal) indicate more an input shaft bearing noise? IE: Foot off the clutch = noisy/rattling foot on the clutch = noise instantly goes away
  19. jrm

    R34s...please!

That looks like a serious cop magnet; how do you not get constantly defected?
  20. HINT 1: It's a bad thing (What do you think, it's a red warning light?!) HINT 2: Search!! This has been covered *extensively*
  21. beached az bro!
  22. Try http://www.sasuspension.com.au/IB44-%20Nov...g%20Version.pdf It has the eyebrow heights you require to keep legal for your car
  23. Exposed bonnet pins do not meet ADRs specifically because the damage they can do to a pedestrian in an accident. Not sure what the laws are on bullbars or FG/CF panels - but CF/FG bonnets have to meet ADRs otherwise they're illegal too.
  24. That looks suspiciously like the work of Mad Coatings. From what I've seen in person, they're damn expensive but looks amazingly good.
  25. Do you have the interior moulded carpet?
