  1. nah they are a bit more valuable, ive got plenty of the rb30 nistune boards here though, we do a few each week.
  2. yes it will both are 3/4 thread. You can run Z442 filters on RB's outlet angle for the lines might get you stuck though.
  3. Hamish i got a spare Nistune remaped ecu round the place for sr20. Cover the board price and its yours. Will handle E85 piece of piss.
  4. i KNOW this but he has Only 1k to spend..... hardly enough. Machine cost to relieve cam valley, reco head, repair damage and cams blow his budget way out.. port work... way out of budget. If you have more to spend the possiblities are endless but with 1k... your limited.
  5. interested in Gearbox and complete rear cradle.
  6. sweet car, like the D1*GARAGE props too.
  7. Decided to run the TRUST plenum as i can have it here 2moro, so if anyone wants a cheap (brand new) HKS 11mm fuel rail let me know as the TRUST plenum i bought comes with a rail kit.
  8. yup, but then one should always supply a car to the tuner ready to be tuned unless otherwise oraganised. I have listed 4 basic yet common things that potentialy cause issues with customers cars during a tune. Doing the below yourself saves money and it saves time for the customer and me. Change plugs (prefer copper RB BCPR7ES or SR BKR7E) Change oil and filter (cheap insurance..... ) Fill with fuel (many come in empty.... pet hate of mine) Make sure clutch is fit and healthy (this happens alot.... slipping clutches)
  9. Its tricky as any potential head work works the opposite, enlarged ports, valves etc all slow intake charge down at low rpm (big benefits up high) so other than upping the static comp a bit there is not much you can do with only $1000.
  10. ^^ egzakery
  11. based on the 2 NA ecu's ive seen its not possible.... the picture above confirms it. Unigroup, MRC DYNO & unique autosports probably assume the same thing i did. i assumed that the NA ecu internals would be the same as GTT (most s13, s14, r32 ecu's run the same internals between NA and turbo, the R34 does not) this assumption landed me with two cars i could not remap. Matt if im wrong let me know.... im starting to doubt my sanity
  12. im not going to post it here (forum sponsors) but 3 of the coil-overs you listed are absolute junk (and in some cases the same thing just a diff colour), pm me if you want to be sent in the right direction.
  13. I have been using a few of the BREMBO z33 sets getting around too as they seem to come up often on ebay etc, they are tricky to fit but do work. The Wilwood gear is well serviced by ROCKET industries (NSW) and UPC (VIC) the calipers are good but definatly lower end of the market. GTR or Z33 Brembo upgrades seem to be the best value and with correct pads work extremely well.
  14. firstly - the kit on the car is fully hidden and the owner is on p's = zero copper issues (even the bottle is hidden) secondly - It beats manual turbo's (with mild mods) in a drag and cost half of a turbo conversion quite simple. Best bang for buck.
  15. Bugger the ecu i had here did not have the 1012a chip...... weird a it was auto too.
  16. cheers but diff part number produce differrent results... the main issue is a lack of specific PROVEN part numbers and rear housing sizes. Ive been through DSm forums and so forth and there is very little to determine exactly which way to go. All this info is on MTQ dial in site.
  17. nice results and setup, im assuming the dyno graphs were engine dyno? looked at a dyno dynamics engine dyno a few weeks back but id love to get my hands on a superflow item.... very nice. good luck with the car and i hope you hurt some of the ego's out there
  18. nope.... but modding your car in anyway is illegal.....
  19. Good luck with the charged project it is great to see something different, we do a lot of chargers here on big displacement v8's and i love them to death. Honestley im not a big fan of them on smaller engines as they need to be revved hard ( see boost graph, ive included a typical charged graph too, overlayed with a turbo curve.) to gain the most benefits the power is way too linear (like a 45 degree ) turbos tend to make more much more mid and similar top end. Hopefully the builder can adress this and im sure he / she will. In my experience the little bit of bottom end gain is not worth the mid range loss on smaller capacity engines. Here are some nice charged cars weve had in lately.
  20. manual obviously, good increase. This thing with a manual would be smack on that.
  21. No its all stock, it went from here to a dyno dynamics and the power was identical but dips were not there, the roller dynos mask the dip due to the rollers inertia.
  22. r34 GTR is the only box that gets noisey. The R34 GTT bos is the same as R33, we use the R34 GTT boxes in the drift car as they are always lower KMS..
  23. We had a good play with a R34 NA Auto, car had full exhaust including extractors. Fitted a sniper Wet kit with a MSD RPM window switch. The window switch allows us to turn the NOS on at a particular rpm and off at another as can be seen in one of the graphs. I changed the turn on point to 3200 (purple) to 3600 (blue) i also made sure it turned off at 6000 to avoid injecting NOS anywhere near the limiter. Torque increase was huge 165nm to 295nm atw.... power from 88rwkw to 154rwkw
