Hmmm.. hmmmmmm I bought mine from a dealer.....kinda. He imported around 50 or so skylines in and i put my hand up for one of them.. I took a look at it myself when it was in.. it looked in great nikky.. I took it to a trusted mechanic.. where he said it was in great condition.. just need a few things done to it ( real minor.. one was the horn wasnt working) Went back to the dealer and got it all fixed then bought it. It was stock as a rocker.. but it was the 10th anv edition ( option 2 etc) with the factory SuperHicas and ALSD system.. chrome kick panels, the 4 inch doovie screen at the front for tv ( which i will be ripping out) 6 stacker (ripping out also) and nissan sway bar at the back. 70,000kms Gunmetal grey all for 13,500 on the road with 6 months rego. From the prices going around that was a pretty good price.. and leaves me some bucks to get the mods i want on it. I dont mind spending the extra money on putting the mods in.. at least its new parts.. and at least its what i want... better then paying an extra 500 bucks for a muffler and a cheap a55 BOV. All in all.. i am pretty happy with the dealer... i didnt get hit 15-16k for the car and he was very easy to approach.. but i know there are some fkn shonks out there dealer wise.. and also some private sellers masking whats wrong with the car and just giving you their expensive problem.. Out of all this.. the best advice people can give you ( and what i reccomend) is no matter what... Get it checked out by a trusted mechanic may cost you 60-200 bucks.. but its the best invested money you could spend

/sigh i thought i left this behind with silvias "i want a fully sick exhuast that sounds loud, the loudest BOV you can get, and change the sr20det to a rb26dettttttt..then i be drifting and cruisin yo!" Before i get too p1ssed... just go to a few skyline meets and see what they have.. Im prob going for a Trust system turbo back. (no point only changing it from catback, unless you just want the noise factor and a tiny comparrasion of power difference from doing manifold and back) Just Jap on this forum offer a pretty damn cheap set.. 1250 i think from memory for full system ( using stock turbo manifold)

So is it really that big? or is it just tasty? and is the tomato stuff dodgy on the top?

Whats funnier to me is the fact that it is one of my mates fav cars... So instead of him trying to tell me the car will be "gansta" once he is done with it (and when he gets it)... all i can see is the center console being used for a shampoo and treatment shelf. hahaha

Well i was either going to get a r33 gtst or a r32 gtr.. i was going to get the rb26 until i was told it was more costly and you need to throw a spanner on them more then the r33. (makes sense since that one is a single turbo and the other is twin) I only got 300kms to this tank ( on premium) and its got no mods.. but i used the AC a bit.. and it was my first week of owning it ( = mates going.. come onnnn lets go for a cruise) But my estimate is prob 400-500kms on a stock engine if you drive like Miss daisy. And it is a very strong engine ( providing you look after it) In general nissan engines are strong as all gettup as long as you treat em right ive had a N16 // sr20det // rb25det engine and all have been nice to me. But also from what i have asked around and researched myself.. the RB in general is a pretty tight engine..

But who puts the stuff up there?? eh eh eh *nodge* and 20 years ago the only tech talk i was going on about was putting double dinks on the 2 wheeler. Well.. at least i get cheap insurance now wheeeee

Integra Type R should be put against the Type R r34 for matching.. And id rather a nissan then a honda... hey you want fast pickup speed... by a 750+ cc motorbike

I learned the hard way.. but the best bet.. is.. if you want a turbo engine.. get one with it already.. saves a LOT of heartache and hassle. i would hold out for a better looking rb25det - and would rather know why its on its own and what km;s are on the engine etc.

It shows we are noobie posters... It auto modifys or you can get custom ones (depending on if your know the Mods or donations etc) I hear money makes them happy.. and beer or burbon

While your at it.. if your not interested in a Skyline. Try out the N/A Subaru Liberty // Imprez RX //RS etc.. Great bang for the buck and more features then you can poke a stick at

If its a non turbo.. Not much Make it breathe better and handle better Struts and sways.. Exhaust Bigger air cartridge replacement ( not pod)

House.. Cars depreciate in value.. house and land dont.. dont be stupid!! and a skyline is good strong car anyway.. If you still want the car.. get house//land first then borrow off the land as an asset.. nuff said

Since apexi is going belly up (again) and looks like it wont be doing much anymore. And also since the r33 gts-t FC chips are now longer being used.... What is the best type of EMS for the R33.. I have been trying to look around for info and all i could come up with was the Wolf V500 which goes for around 2000 + controller. Are there any other ones that can be used for the R33 that you swear by as great performance upgrades etc. lemme hear your "IMHO" posts please (car wont be modded too much, just better breathing and bigger fuel pump//oil pump)

Get a 33 and make the boys turn their heads more at yours then his /evenscore
