Yeah, I think the biggest point is that fact that it wont be taken lightly, there will be a lot of support for her. Come on people.. how would you feel if you didnt know where your baby was? i would be gutted. Also i think the biggest issue will be the good ol word of mouth.. cause i would make sure this never happens to a mate of mine so i would steer them faaaaaar away from this group. Hi All.. I have sold most of the gear from my old business venture but i am stuck with 5 Custom made tables that i was going to use as computer tables. They are 2370mm L x 570mm W x 700mm High. They are made from 3mm thick steel and powder coated in Black The tops are 20mm wider all around and finished with white sealing. There are plugs for the bottoms and screws for the tops. Since they are made custom the drill holes have not been made for the table tops ( this was to make sure each top fitted to the table frame correctly). I am in the process of getting some pics up as they are in storage at this time. They can hold 4-8 pcs easily and stress tested to hold 150kg without a hiccup ( frame can hold more). I am asking for $250 bucks ONO for these tables. ( they are Brand new and never used) I dont have a UTE so you will have to arrange for pickup as well ( can not offer or quote on delivery) Pickup will be from the Northside of Brisbane. even with 6k id still go the cheaper engine.. See with 6k you MAY get lucky and put a stock 25 into it and have no worries at all ( if only everyone could be that lucky) But the chances are that parts would be getting a little shonk, or reccomended replacing and all that jazz. Also put into consideration that if you DO have aftermarket parts, they may not work with the RB25 (power FC // turbo manifold etc etc). SO those parts will need to be replaced. Problem is, is that i look at the stuff that i can do that will increase its life while i can.. That sentence in a more english response would go something like this. "hmm i need a clutch replacement, i may as well look at a better flywheel while its on the bench" "Replacing my rods, hmm may as well look at coilovers and injectors" 6k would get you a reallly nice rebuild of an RB20 that you would not have to worry about. (as much if you look after it) Get some forged parts, bits and pieces that will give it that boost... cause if you are getting someone to do it.. it will cost you less now if you get them to do it at the same time.. compared to doing it bit by bit. an Rb25 in a r32 would be hella fun... however look at your budget now.. and your budget in the future.. dont rely on the fact that nothing is going to go wrong on your 5000 rb25 conversion..

If they dont ask.. dont tell em. That is technically a cams 3 + car.. however bear in mind if you get caught and they get you to test noise + pollution regulations you may get stung.

3500 budget for a rb25? nope... keep walking... you would ( while its open) replace any worn parts etc on the engine and possibly do the clutch at the same time ( since its all open) for a rb25 ( + the ecu and wiring loom since the putahs are different) i would be looking at an upwards of 5000-15000 I got a few places to put a quote for me when i was thinking of putting an RB20//25 into my silvia and they broke down what needed to be done and what is reccomended.. they were not to far off each other and yah.. cheapest was 5000 and the most expensive was 15000 ( 15,000 was a complete rebuild + "bullet proofing" + after market gear) So with your price range get an RB20 and do it right.

Anyway i am about to try Mobil 1 5w50 in my car next service.... then im going to try the Motul Semi Synth 5w50 and see what the difference is.. i might also try a Penrite as i put it in my Gf's celica with 200,000 on the clock and it now works a damn treat.. I use to use the semi synth Motul in my silvia and it never had a problem. Guess i will just see how it goes..

get an excell sprint... its cheap.. runs on an oily rag.. and when theres a problem with it over 1000 bucks throw it away even though its an hyundai.. it is a good run around car if you throw oil at it and dont race it. 3000-5000 clams will get you one with under 100,000kms on it.. who cares what it looks like.. just dont rice it up

Hey ghost i have a 33.. however.. if your under 5'8 get a 32... Get a clean one and dont mod the piss out of it.. Get decent tyres//suspension//struts & better brakes first. This is no offence here.. but your better off with a car thats lighter, not as powerful with great aftermarket suspension and brakes so you can get use to it and dont write yourself off by doing stupid mods first. However r32 parts are a little harder to get now.. so be aware of that. this is only if a) you dont have a license yet b) this is your first turbo if you dont have a license yet you aint going to be able to get a turbo anyhoo.. If so i suggest you get a rb25de if not.. the r33's reaalllly have an appeal to me... and the extra .5 displacement helped me a little... yes it looks like a family car stock.. but meh.. im after a sleeper of a car anyway

500hp? no offence but have you just finished playing need for speed? ive seen some 300-350 kw powered rb26's and not only are they psycho but cost a lot to build. Unless you are going to sell kidneys on the black market just got for 200-270kw and be done with it. No engine will "surivive" 500hp.. it all comes down to how much money you got to make the engine bullet proof.. just dont expect that you wont have to rip it apart every month to fix shit up. also 500hp on a single turbo means the lag would be just too stupid.. unless you put Nos in it ( making it 1000% illegal on roads and a rebuild every 1000km's). I think you should read more on google first before making a tard post like this
