I know exactly what it feels like I bought an R32 GTS-t, and was driving it around for 2 weeks... one night coming through a new estate near my house, there was a straight with an s-bend at the end, and it wasn't very well lit... anyway, i went into the s-bend about 60 (speed limit) and in the middle of the corner was a cat... now, i didn't swerve or anything, but without thinking, jumped on the brakes... big no no.... Rear end stepped out, hit the gutter, flung the steering wheel outta my hands and i mounted the gutter, over about 3 of those big fat poles around a park that are meant to keep cars out, over a few small trees and ended up smacking into a park bench. Luckily i had just forked out $2600 for comprehensive insurance, so after $6000 damage to the car, hopefully i am going to get it back on friday. Luckily it was mainly cosmetic, and very superficial (2 front guards, grille, headlights, front bar, plus a few bent suspension components from the gutter, exhaust, sump etc) However, its really shaken me up, i don't like driving anywhere any more, was even considering selling the car at one point, due to the fact that this is the first time i've had comprehensive insurance, so no rating (have had about 3 other cars, but all insured 3rd party) and now i am worried they won't insure me next year due to this bad luck

Hi All I saw smoothlines thread about where are some good places to get a wheel alignment done on the coast, and i was wondering if anyone know of any places in Brisbane? I'm getting my car back from the panel beaters on friday i believe, and want to get the suspension checked out and a wheel alignment straight away incase they missed some damage etc etc. The car is a R32 GTS-t with Hicas, so it would have to be somewhere able to do 4-wheel alignments. So, are there any reputable places in brisbane that you've had good experiences with? If so, who are they? Thanks for your time Jason

Hi all I'm currently on the market for a dump/front pipe and was wondering if anyone had done back to back dyno comparisons between a few different types? Some options i'm facing at the moment: *3" CES Split Dump Pipe - $530 *3" Flyn Dump Pipe for $250 (or less) *Others?

Complete opposite of what you should do... synthetic + brand new engine = dead engine before too long

I know of a Manual '92 R32 GTS-t with 153,000km that sold for $17k in a caryard recently.. basically stock.

Or the speedo? :headspin: I experience the same thing in my 32 GTS-t... it will sit REALLY low (not quite on 0) on the oil pressure guage, and then climb to slightly above 1/4 when driving around... i don't think i've ever see it go over 3/8th (between 1/4 and 1/2) on the guage... i'm hoping its just a faulty sender, not a shagged pump or something

just a question, would this work with an aftermarket turbo, say a hks 2530? 'coz i'd be looking ot upgrade the turbo somewhere down the track

I should have made it "no general dickhead behaviour/racing/etc" I'm not saying you guys/girls would, 'coz i've never been on a SAU cruise before (only a newish member and only had a skyline for like 2 weeks) so i don't know what you're all like, but i would prefer to just have a nice sedate cruise, without the worry of excess attention from the constabulary due to some retard/s drifting/racing or something similar. As for where, i honestly have no idea, i'm open for suggestions. When i go up the coast i usually just go to mooloolaba or something similar. Somewhere where we could just park, have some lunch or something would be nice.

According to the repairer, i should be getting my car back in around 15 working days from now, if not sooner (so, say friday in 3 weeks time). Just seeing if anyone is interested in a sunshine coast cruise in about a 3 - 4 weekends time? Im just wanting to go on a sedate, leisurely cruise. If you want to race, DO NOT BOTHER COMING...
