  1. does anyone happen to have phil (ib6ub9's) mobile number? if so, could u please pm me?
  2. pretty sure you have to cut the rear parcel shelf to fit 6x9's, which in turn affects structural rigidity. The factory holes in the rear are 6" i believe
  3. i'm interested... just let me get paid first
  4. good to see something come out of the media that isn't hoon-bashing etc... now we need to get that sorta viewpoint into more mainstream media like newspapers etc.

  6. most mechanics would just use a kero bath (kero and a paintbrush type contraption), wash it out with water, and then dry it with compressed air
  7. Anyway, back to the topic of this thread... I'd be up for being in the SAU section for this 'Takeover' as long as Mr Plod doesn't decide to turn it into a major defect fest. (QSC and BoostCruising are heavily monitored by police, who might see this as an opportunity to screw many people over in the same place at the same time)
  8. don't get me wrong, i'm not bagging him or anything, i just don't agree with some things he says/does/acts... on the other hand, he sometimes has good ideas, like in that thread
  9. I know who he is.. i used to talk to him occasionally when i went out clubbing in surfers... i just don't see eye to eye with him on alot of things.
  10. never mind, i found it pretty obscure thread name but what do you expect from OVL666
  11. does someone have the link for it? i can't for the life of me find it!
  12. still a cute little furry fella
  13. awww, isn't it cute!
  14. but, if you take the lolli water away from the car ****s, that means less drunkeness for them... and then what chance do i have!?!?!?1 But yes, it sounds like a good idea
  15. have to watch out for white tails, NuGGeT... they look like wolf spiders but with a white stripe on their abdomen... they mess you up good and proper... their venom causes the skin to rot away, and it keeps spreading.
  16. This is in a r32, so i don't really have to worry about the sealed/unsealed thing
  17. i dont' want to take it back because the battery (and the corresponding battery clamp size) is more suited to a scooter or a motorbike (thanks dodgey caryard), and i have problems where the car doesn't idle well, has trouble running too many things at once (i.e. lights, radio and power windows etc)
  18. damn, i'm annoyed i missed out on this! i woulda been there in a flash! i think we need some form of calendar or something that shows all the dates for all the car shows etc etc that happen in qld, so we can check it to find out whats coming up... just an idea
  19. Hi All I bought myself a new Century 57 battery this afternoon, and when i went to fit it tonight, the terminals wouldn't fit! they're too small! I managed to totally mutilate one of them trying to get it on, so now i need new, larger terminal clamps! where can i get them, and how hard are they to put on? i take it you just squeeze the end of the clamp around the wire using some pliers or something?
  20. hahaha :jump:
  21. i'm flattered
  22. Oh, and another thing... if you have daddy-long-legs spiders... LEAVE THEM... they are harmless (actually, they're one of the most venomous spiders known to man, but they can't even bite you, their fangs are not long enough to penetrate skin) They kill insects and stuff that are around... plus, they tickle when they run across your skin in the middle of the night, heh.
  23. Huntsmans are HARMLESS people! we have a beachhouse in the middle of a national park, and we have an old wood-fired oven there... was collecting wood for the stove when i turned a piece over and a huntsman bigger than my hand crawled up my arm... i walked back to the house with it there and showed my brother (he's arachnophobic) and he FREAKED... i didn't see him for the next hour... hahahaha. Seriously, spiders won't hurt you unless you threaten them in some way. Hell, i used to catch redbacks when i was about 9 or 10... they were everywhere around my house... i think at one stage i had about 40 or 50 of them.... some of them bigger than a 50 cent piece. We have a 6 foot carpet snake that hangs around work... if he starts getting too close to the skyline i have no qualms with picking him up and moving him along, so he can eat some of the damn scrub the sphincter of the universes that hang around there too, lol. (No, i won't pick up more deadly types of snakes, i'm not THAT crazy)
  24. Running RB20DET with 3" Catback and Pod Filter
  25. Hi all I'm on the market for some form of boost controller, and i think i'm leaning towards an electronic one like a profec, or an AVCR etc.... i just want to know what ones people have used, your experiences with them etc, the pros and cons, as there seem to be a fair few out there, and i'm having a hard time deciding  If it helps, i'm aiming for around 180 - 200rwkw in a R32 GTS-t
