  1. from what i've gathered, there's a bit of a cruise/meet on the sunshine coast (around alex hill) this afternoon if you wanted to go to that... the thread is here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=62845
  2. hey mate... i managed to get one for $35 from STZ Automotive at Northgate... if it happens again, i might take you up on that offer though
  3. On that subject, does anyone know the standard wattage of the bulbs, so i can compare mine?
  4. I checked all the fuses... i couldn't tell which ones were the headlight ones (its all in japanese) but i checked the amperage of the fuses against what it says on the cover, and they're all fine boj01... thats what i thought too, but as far as i know, they are just the standard wattage.... i will check on the weekend (don't really feel like pulling the headlights out to find out at the moment) the thing i find strange is, i've had the car for 6 months, and the bulbs are the same as they were when i got it, and it suddenly decides to melt it out now? oh, to top that off, the plug is all scored/blackened, and a tiny bit melted on the end... i plugged it into the new switch, and it still works etc, so i hope tis going to be okay

  7. Hi All Was driving home last night, and stopped at a mates place... went to switch the headlights off, and the knob wouldn't turn very far (i.e. wouldn't click off onto just parkers or to the 'off' position) and then it wouldn't stay on the 'on' setting either... anyway, just pulled it apart then, and it seems that 2 of the connectors have melted.... is this a common problem? any ideas as to what could cause it? as far as i know, the headlight bulbs aren't super duper high powered ones... about the only thing i could think of was that i had my high beams on for about 15 minutes on the highway... but surely that wouldn't cause it?

Hi All I was wondering if any of the members here owns the Black R34 GT-T with the plates [NZM034]?
  9. Yeah, i know, its just that i don't get a chance to get to the wreckers during the week because of work, so i was hoping someone could help me out with one quickly (I.E. today)
  10. My RB20 is coming up to 170,000km
  11. Please Help! Went out to the test-and-tune at Willowbank tonight... on the way home, i stopped at a friends place, and went to switch the headlights off.... thats odd, the switch won't turn off.... thats odd... now the switch wont stay on either!... so we had to turn the headlights off by disconnecting the battery, and to get the car home i had to duct-tape the switch up to keep enough pressure on the switch for the lights to stay on... fun fun To top that off, some inconsiderate wanker decided to leave roadkill in my lane on the highway, so now i have to get blood off my freshly polished/waxed car (i.e. less than 12 hours ago):rant: So, in summary... is anyone able to help me locate / does anyone have one laying around that i could buy, a headlight switch for a R32 GTS-t? (I assume it would be the same across all r32's, and maybe even some other models?) ASAP!?!?! I really need the car to get to work. Thanks Jason
  12. How good of a boost controller do you consider something like a GReddy Profec B-Spec II, or even a Spec-S?
  13. anywho... off to yet another exhilerating day at work

  15. strutto... are you going to call it "16yearoldlesbiantwinsinbathtubhornynaked.jpg" so it gets downloaded lots?

  17. i'm pretty sure you have to inform them that they are being recorded... and i've also heard that they can ask(tell) you to stop recording them I've seen cops confiscate cameras etc from people who were recording them.
  18. You'd be surprised at what 'professional' businesses can get away with these days
  19. are you SURE about that? i'd look into it if i was you... i was under the impression that ANY defect carries with it a $75 fine, and loss of 1 point. I know they certainly didn't tell me that i lost a point when they defected me for bullshit reasons, but i did.
  20. It was worth a shot
  21. I know its a long shot, but my hairdresser has left where she used to work, and when i was getting my hair cut a while back she mentioned that her brother had just bought a skyline.. was wondering if anyone knew which hairdresser shes ended up at now? 'Coz the other hairdressers around here can't cut my hair for crap, and she was always coming up with funky new styles her name was Jaimee? and she worked at Jon Le Court at Strathpine
  22. Mate, there's not a great deal i could do about it. its not 'illegal' in the sense of the term. They would just argue that they were a professional panel shop and that it was carried out properly, blah blah blah.. and besides that, they closed down a few weeks later and moved to the northern territory or something. I've been letting everyone know about it at every chance i get, so that if they do come across it, they know to leave it well enough alone. So its not like i've just been turning a blind eye to it or whatever, i've been trying to warn people away from it.
  23. From the couple of times i've been there, i've noticed that alot of their cars are overpriced, but you get that with dealers. I also know they were selling a dodgey Skyline (Sorry, i can't remember if it was a '32 or a 33... it was too long ago... think it was a 33 tho)... By dodgey i mean it was a frontcut and a rearcut welded together... I know this because a panelbeater near my place was the one that welded them together... saw it in there a couple of times during the process, and after painting. I then saw the car sitting in AJM about a month later. You can't miss it... its fluroescent green with 2 big, fat, black racing stripes over it. (it was at last years brisbane Autosalon too)
  24. Hey... i have a skyline... will that impress your big-breasted blonde friends?
  25. I Use Motul 4100 Turbolight, which is 10w40. It seems to be one of the most common oils run by skyliners
