  1. I just spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out how i stuffed my setup up... I was doing some runs around Nurburgring in my '02 R34 GTR Skyline M-Spec NUR, finetuning some settings etc.. First Run: 6:48.023 Second Run: 6:45.431 Third Run: 6:42.209 Fourth and every other run after that: Spin out on about 4 corners, totally stuffing up the time, and i can't figure out what i changed to make it so terrible to drive! I've changed everything back to what i thought it was, plus about 50 other combinations, but to no avail Doesn't matter, i just bought myself an '00 R34 GTR Skyline N1, so expect to see some good times coming out of that P.S. My '02 R34 GTR Skyline M-Spec Nur that i ran the 6:42.209 in, is far from stock. It has every mod available done to it, producing 614kw on the 'Valuation' screen in 'Home'. That time was done on Soft racing tyres.
  2. Lowest part of the car (apart from the wheels/tyres of course) can be no lower than 100mm from the road. Then you have to factor in the cops saying that that 100mm has to be with 5 people in the car (i.e. a full load)
  3. really? feel free to PM me the details, as i was looking at possibly getting one of them?
  4. Not overly big, but i've seen 'DRIFT' ones for sale at autobarn that are able to be opened via alankey (expensive tho i think) other than that, the GReddy copy ones can be opened, I THINK.... as seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...4538231043&rd=1
  5. Single, Heterosexual male skyline driver here... need proof you're actually female first tho
  6. Hi all Looking to buy a cheap daily driver... up to around the $1.5k mark must have rego/roadworthy show me what you've got!
  7. This shirt is still for sale... any takers?
  8. Hi All I'm looking at maybe powdercoating or painting my wheels black, and i was wondering if someone could photoshop them, so i could see what it looks like? Also maybe do a few different ones, like, entirely black, black spokes with a silver lip, or black spokes with a chrome lip... stuff like that... Thanks Heaps! Jason
  9. Last time we went to byron, we had stoned 50 year old hippies throw off-milk on my friends immaculate S14a, general dero hippie behaviour, etc etc... the area seems to be being taken over by idiots.
  10. if you're bringing your missus's with you, can i suggest a stop (or stay the night) in montville, scenic rainforests, lovely little chalet style accomodation, and cafe's etc... EDIT: here's a website with a bit of info about montville: http://www.montvillevillage.com.au/ Its a nice scenic mountain drive to get there too, so it'll keep both of you happy :headspin:
  11. Hrm... there's an idea We have a beach-house on Theodolite Creek (Big creek next to woodgate, for those who know the area). Never taken the skyline up there though, 'coz there's a couple of k's of dirt/sand/4wd track you have to drive over to get into the place. Last time i was up there, i saw a white R33 GTS-t, up near the macadamia icecream place just ouside of childers, with pink plates [MIS581] (Miss-Bi) or something along those lines, driven by a chick... hrm.. couldn't see if she was hot or not, lol.
  12. 1 word that describes the specs of that car: Ballistic! or, as Tsuchiya kindly puts it: "SHXXXXXXT!"
  13. Hi All I bought a HKS T-shirt from e-bay, and the seller has sent me the wrong size, so if somebody wants it, you can have it for what i paid for it ($25) + P&H (only a few dollars) if you want it sent interstate. Below are some pics: 1st pic is of the back of the shirt 2nd pic is of the front. Size is Large (Suit Chest 42", Length 29")
  14. If i could have some pics of the turbo to jwgeh at tpg.com.au that would be great! Also, what markings are on the housing?
  15. thanks guys... i'm trying to do photography as a hobby type thing, so if u want some shots done of your car, just give me a yell
  16. Thanks I'm happy to take pics of other peoples cars if they want them, just have to make sure i have the camera available at the time Another couple of pics that are of interest. The first 3 pics didn't really show the shine up too well, so here's one that does And i just like this pic
  17. Hey all Not really new here, but haven't been to many events, so alot of you don't know me. Washed/waxed my car, and got a few pics, so i thought i'd post them up and see what you all thought? Anyway, here they are!
  18. i usually warm my cars up for 10 minutes before i go out, but i will take note of how long it takes if i drive off straight away and get back to you
  19. did you know it was on the way out? if not, i'd be hitting up wherever you bought it from for repairs
  20. Slightly related to this thread My R32 GTS-t's operating temp is usually around 75 - 76 when driving around... around 81 in stop start traffic on a hot (mid 30's) day. Anyone have any idea why its so low? Is this TOO low?
  21. BNR32 = R32 GTR (2.6L Twin Turbo, 4wd) HCR32 = R32 GTS-t (2.0L Single Turbo RWD) Not sure about the injectors, but it could be different revisions of the RB20? I.e. one may be a newer 'type' than the other?
  22. I bought 2 x Falken Azenis RT-215S's for the rear, about 2000km ago, i must say i'm very impressed with their grip levels. Only had them let go once, and that was severe provocation... i.e. 90 degree righthand corner, 1st gear, full throttle, up a hill. Even then they didn't let go in a big way, they still kept gripping, and pushing me fowards, where my old tyres would have just been a plume of smoke, with me not accelerating very fast at all. Edit: P.S. They were 205/55/16's to fit onto standard R33 Rims, $255 each.
  23. I too, have been targetted by police for simply driving a skyline... cop ran across 4 lanes of traffic to pull me in (was driving sedately past aspley maccas, on my way home from a mates place, in the far right-hand lane of gympie road, heading northbound) In the end the only thing they could get me for, was my front bar being 5mm too low (questionable, as he refused to measure it on flat ground, and harassed/intimidated me and sent me to the pits when i asked him if he could do it on flat ground) and a parking light that was out, that would have blown that night, 'coz i know it was working that morning. So for that, i am now $75 poorer and 1 point less on my license... Fuggin cops. P.S. i'm actually considering joining the police force... posts like this make me rethink tho, as i don't want to be working with ****ing tools.
