I saw a burgundy R33 with a Nismo decal across the bonnet on the corner of Rode and Gympie road, i waved, and got a weird look in reply... I think i'm going to give up waving, all i ever get is weird looks :S

Crap! You shoulda told me about this about 3 months earlier, Gary, and i would have bought mine from you instead of getting the place who shall remain nameless to destroy my suspension.... GREAT KITS GUYS!!! BUY THEM!!! (I just spent close to $4000 buying one of these kits and having it installed etc, so Sydneykids price is awesome, to say the least... and his come with some added extras too!)

seriously dude, get the complete works kit from whiteline... i made the BIG mistake of using Kings springs with my full whiteline works kit, and it was one of the worst decisions i've ever made. To say i'm dissapointed in the amount of customer service etc that i am receiving from kings at the moment (the springs that they have supplied me with are nowhere near the same as what i was told they would be, and their general "oh well, its not our fault... cya later" attitude) has steered me clear of dealing with Kings in the future.

R32 Stalling Issue "need A Straight Fix"
AzzurrA replied to DriftSquad's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
you don't happen to have an Atmo venting BOV do you? if so, that could be your problem... they cause symptoms exactly the same as what you've described... put the stock one back on, or get a plumb-back... -
you tell him to meet you at <insert nearby legal dragstrip here> and settle it on the track, legally. You will probably stand more of a chance than you would on the highway too

R32 Gts-t Fule Consumption Questions
AzzurrA replied to linxus40's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
mine gets around 10 - 11 litres/100km city driving, around 9.5 - 10 litres/100km highway... i took it for a sprint day at QR yesteray, did 170km (which includes 44km of actual circuit work) and only used 20L... quite happy with that! -
yeah, the car has a heap of suspension mods: Kings Springs Bilstein Shocks Front & Rear Swaybars Adjustable front and rear Camber Adjustable Front Castor Hicas Lock Kit Urethane Lower Control Arm Bushes Subframe Lock and Align Kit, set up for handling Front and Rear Strut Braces Brakes were great (i was out-braking most other cars that i was up against) and they're just the standard calipers and rotors, with some Motul RBF600 Brake Fluid and RB74 pads on the front, and just generic crappy pads on the rear. The thing that was letting me down was tyres, i was just running Toyo Trampio GU:WN Street tyres on one end and Falken Azenis RT-215's on the other end... i could easily drop my time by around 2 seconds with better tyres, and also improving my technique a bit (i go into turn 1 too soft, come out of turn 2 too soft) Did you hear my car detonating at all? I couldn't hear much through the helmet, but in the last session i thought i heard it ping once or twice coming through the dipper... but Kieth? (With the white R34) said that he thought he heard it pinging its tits off when i came past the pits, wheras my pit crew said he didn't hear anything . Now all i can think of was it was either 1) heat soak (car has standard I/C and piping) or 2) was getting blowby/oil surge, and oil going back into the intake, hence lowering octane? Hoping to do a couple more mods before i head back out, to improve reliability etc (oil cooler, remove dust backing plates from rotors, bigger intercooler, maybe water spray and/or water/metho injection, better tyres, a bit more aggressive wheel alignment), and i'm hoping to get consistent low 67's
-
Hey mate I was out there today, and i believe Stealth was as well (he was in the pit bay next to me) I was the very standard White R32 GTS-t running around... My first time ever on a track, and was fairly happy with the time i ran... got a 1:09.86 in my last session, and the car only has a pod and exhaust as go fast mods If you have any photos of me, could you please post them up?! Thanks Jason

Hi All I'm heading out to Queensland Raceway tomorrow for a Sprint day, and was wondering if someone could give me some ballpark cold pressures to start off with? (Car is an R32 GTS-t) The Tyres Are: Front: Toyo Trampio - 205/55/16 Rear: Falken Azenis RT-215s - 205/55/16 I was thinking of aiming for around 38psi hot on the front and 36psi hot rear? How does that sound? Has anyone had any experience with different pressures, running either street or semi-slick tyres on the track and want to share their findings? Thanks Jason (And yes, i did do a search but couldn't really find much on the topic)
