  1. thats odd... when i'm really up it (i.e. near redline in 3rd or 4th) my computer is reading anywhere up to around 112% duty (over 100% anyway) Edit: And i'm making around 135rwkw
  2. Put me down for a Tentative yes... it depends on many things... mainly how my car is functioning by then (with such things as intercooler, need new clutch/gearbox/diff, etc etc)
  3. Hi All Well, after spending the last 2 weeks trying to find tyres, and every time i find a tyre i like being told "there are none in Australia in your size" (205/55/16, to go on standard rims) (This has happened with both the Hankook K104's and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3), i have been recommended the Goodyear Revspec RS-02 (The place that recommended them actually suggested i get the Eagle F1, but then found out that there were none in Aus) I see these tyres recently places First overall in the Wheels (Or Motor?) Tyre test for 2005? Does anyone have a copy of the article that i could see? The shop has ordered me 4 of these in, and at around $230ish a tyre, i didn't think it was overly bad (though i would have preferred to pay the $190/tyre for the Eagle F1's) Does anyone have any experience with these tyres?
  4. main advantage that i can see is the ability to have vents for cooling, not that many of the cars that i see driving around that have carbon fibre bonnets actually require any more cooling than stock... don't say weight is an advantage, as the weight difference between the carbon fibre bonnets that you can buy retail, and an aluminium bonnet, is next to none... Its mainly for the 'look at me' wank factor
  5. i'll take a black one, thanks edit: I'm in Brisbane
  6. hell, i'm willing to do some photography if you want.... here are some samples of my work... Older, Car Related: More Recent, Non Car related:
  7. Bumpity Bump... PRICES SLASHED!!!
  8. i can answer that one for you... 'legally' the widest you can go is 245/45/16 according to the tyre place the other day when i went to price up some tyres
  9. i work literally 1 street away from that address, and can't say i've ever seen a workshop there? is it hidden behind anything? or am i just missing it every time i drive past?
  10. i'll put my hand up for the R32 stakes
  11. If you want to know how to make japlish/engrish, you go to: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ You type in a phrase that makes perfect sense to you, and translate it from english to japanese... then you copy and paste the result into the translate field again and translate from japanese to english... Hey presto! instant japlish! Here's one along similar lines to your original one that i prepared just then for you: Original Phrase: "This Product is made to the highest standards and you should buy with confidence" Translated to Japanese: "このプロダクトは高水準になされ、自信をもって買うべきである" Translated back to English: "You can do this product to high level, you should buy with self-confidence" Very low level stuff, but have a play around with it, you get some 'interesting' phrases out of good old babelfish
  12. rather good 'bang for your buck' pad if you're doing track work, but i run them on the street as well and find that if you need to stop in a hurry for some reason, after just driving around in normal traffic... good luck, as they take a bit to warm up... But once they're up to temp (i.e. on a track) i found that they're great! i did 7 hard laps of QR and couldn't get them to fade, even after pulling up hard for turn 6 and turn 2, time after time.
  13. Hi all, I have a bit of a problem with my R32 at the moment.... My brakes 'creak' when i'm braking, and you can feel the pedal 'slip' a tad (i.e. less than 1mm) lower with each creak... Is this air in the system? I had the brakes Bled probably a month? ago, and they used Motul RBF600 Fluid (which is what i already had in there) and they said that they bled all the air out of the system, but that it was bad before they did... and it felt okay. I did a track day they day after they bled them, and the brakes felt fantastic, was able to push 10/10ths into a corner without fear that it was going to randomly lock a wheel unless i was being stupid with the brakes. Well after the bleed/track day, the creak MOSTLY went away, but was still there a bit... anyway, lately the creak is back, and i was giving my brakes a bit of a workout on the way home, as they feel a bit doughy, and every time i used more than about 1/2 the pedal, it would lock the rears and send the ass end of the car to try and meet the front.... Now, to me, this sounds like i've got some big air bubbles in my front lines... i was wondering what everyone elses opinions of the matter are?
  14. Drift isn't really my thing, as i think its not a sport, but a sideshow to real racing () but lets not make this thread about that I watched it anyway (because i dislike bike racing just as much) i swear, if i hear those commentators say "under under" one more time i'm going to kill them.. it is UNDERSTEER YOU RETARDS
  15. Anyone got a set, or even 2 x R32 GTR rims + tyres sitting around at all? I want to try them on my R32 GTS-t to see how they fit within the guards etc.. I.e. i won't take them from you, just want to come around and fit them, to even one side of the car to see the guard clearances etc? Thanks Jason
