ah, okay, fair enough, i thought you were just talking about the front 2... do you need slotted on the rear though? maybe just get standard replacement ones, with some half-decent pads?
-
1000 bux? that must have been for 4, as the slotted ones were around $230 each i thought.... unless you are looking for 4?
-
thought about some of the DBA Slotted rotors?

Lang, well i don't have ABS either, so that doesn't bother me too much Beer Baron, I thought the lock bar was really good, though it was a bit hard to ascertain how much effect it actually had on the car, as i had new springs, shocks, bushes, swaybars and completely new alignment settings done at the same time. The rear end feels alot more 'direct' now and has lost alot of its vagueness that it used to have. I didn't notice any heavier steering really.... Turning circle increased a little bit, and i'd previously pulled the bulb to the hicas light before installing all this, so i'm not sure if its still on or not, lol. as far as i can tell, they just blocked the lines off just in front of the diff, but i'm not sure if they routed them back into each other so it flows in a circle or what (though i have a feeling that they didn't) So far so good with the power steering pump, though its only been around 2 months since it was all done. P.S. Its a GTS-t, not a GTR

Hi All In my pursuit of faster lap times, i have decided to get rid of as much dead weight (except for me  ) in the car. Now, my boot already has barely any trim (thanks to previous owner ) i've pulled the remainder out, pulled the carpet out of the boot, along with the spare wheel. I have no use for the stock amplifier, and as i no longer have HICAS (have a lock bar) is there any reason that the HICAS ECU cannot be removed? I have attached 2 pics below, and if someone could identify what is what in them, i would be much obliged (i am 99% sure that i know what they are, i just want to make sure before i take them out) Also, what is the controller/ecu thats hidden in front of the jack holder, in the 2nd pic? Thanks, Jason

i'm guessing the guy picked a random number out of the air to shut me up... as the conversations is as follows (cut & paste): Me: "Hi, I was just wondering if you could tell me how much one of these rims weighs [referring to RS-GT], and what offsets are available? Also, do you have a 'rough' RRP for them? Ozzy Tyres: "What size r u after ??" Me: "sorry mate... 17 x 8, 5 x 114.3" Ozzy Tyres: "17” 4 weeks away 18” avail in shadow chrome $2000 incl tyres If you want the 17” place your order to guarantee availability" Me: "How much for just the 17" rims only? what about 17" rims with tyres... what sort of price are they? and also, what tyres do you guys use? and any idea on the weights?" Ozzy Tyres: "$220 per wheels $1500 incl tyres Tyres low profile to match the car 6kg" Now, not only did the guy take half a dozen emails to answer a few simple questions, he sounds like he's all of about 10 years old with his fullee siik speak, bro, and still didn't answer half of my questions!

Hi All Before you say "Do a search", i have, and couldn't find anything even remotely close to what i'm about to ask First Question: Does anyone know the weight of a standard R33 GTS-t / S14 Rim? (16 x 6.5) (Rim Only) or have one laying around that they could weigh or something please? Second Question: I'm looking to upgrade my rims to some 17" ones, and have been looking around for something that i like, and have come across these ones from 'Ozzy Tyres'... i'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company/ their rims? they are: Ozzy Racing - RS GT 17 x 7 They told me they weigh in at around 6kg each, which isn't too bad for $220/rim

Are These Bushes Correct? (photo)
AzzurrA replied to eXc's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
and when you put them in, MAKE SURE YOU DO UP THE BOLTS!!!! I had a very bad clunk coming from my brand new suspension for a few days, put it up on a hoist and found that the friggin dodgey workshop who fitted all my brande new suspension hadn't done up the Upper - Inner control arm bolt, so the nut had fallen off and the bolt had half slid out, so it was only held to the body by half a bolt.. front right suspension was just waving in the wind virtually! It was actually hitting the springs, and took all the paint off the springs etc. Last time i ever use that place... EVER -
Here's an answer sydneykid prepared earlier (bout halfway down page 1) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=68174&hl=
