  1. just a tip, remove that youtube video asap. The boys in blue are known to search through public forums like this for that stuff, as well as youtube. Your number plate can be seen as clear as day. They can use that for a hoon charge, just be careful. Next time take your plates off
  2. I originally put king springs super lows in my r34, hated them. Didnt like the ride height (still too monster truck for super lows) and hated the ride quality. Honestly, if you were just after a "low" look i would just chop the standard springs haha I've had king springs in other cars and they've been ok, but they didnt do the job for me. Never had any experience with lovells I ended up biting the bullet and bought buddy club coilovers, problem solved
  3. gt-ss would be the go, gt-rs's are way too big, unless you went all out in a stroker
  4. nice result but why is boost still dying in the ass and why do you only have a 6900rpm limiter?
  5. whats that going in? went all out and got the v88
  6. i wont mention the brand that collapsed, but it was definately not cheap, just a freak manufacturing fault most likely. A new cat shouldnt run any hotter, if anything cooler since it can flow more. Unless a smaller cat was used = more restriction.
  7. it burns the eyes
  8. the exhaust temp sensor will go off if the exhaust temp is too high, the main reason for that there is an exhaust restriction creating excessive heat (most likely a block cat as mentioned above). Take the cat out and see if its collapsed, melted or just blocked full of crap. EDIT: just noticed you replaced the cat, still take it out though, i've seen brand new cats collapse within a week
  9. the stock box has been proven to hold up well to fairly respectable numbers, if you just wanted to change the filter it should be sweet. Otherwise pods will add that extra "bling factor"
  10. all i know is that i'm gonna pump up two space savers to 60psi, stick them on my brothers r33 and smoke 'em, should be fine
  11. add dumps and front pipe and you've got a winner
  12. it'll work, but it will eventually go bang. The general rule of thumb for ceramic wheeled turbos is no more than 1 bar. I ran 17-18psi through a toyota ct20b turbo (ceramic) and it lasted a bit over a year before it spat out the "fins" on the wheel
  13. what about a screamin na?
  14. your pm was full so i thought i would let you know here i noticed you are after strut tops, i have a full set from a r33 if you want them. I dont want any money for them, but if you fix up the delivery cost, they're yours (probably $5-10). Anyhoo, pm if you want them
  15. its a pretty common evo upgrade, suits more of a 2L engine. Would be a good responsive setup for an rb20 Too small for a rb25 imo, if you were going a trust turbo the td06 20g would be the better option (unless you want full boost in th 2k rpm mark)
  16. woot woot might call in early next week and pick one up would you have the stock na rb25 neo map for it? I might plug it in before i do the conversion to see what the old na can pump out haha
  17. anymore updates for the r34 plug n plays?
  18. out of interest, would they just sell the parts to build the box? if so, how much for all the go gear? I'm in perth so im not going to drive all the way to NSW
  19. you've totally lost me... The stock setup (from factory) has the intercooler pipe coming out of the turbo, on that pipe there is a nipple which a vac line is connected. That line goes to the stock solinod, then 2nd line on the solinod goes to the turbos actuator. You will need to disconnect all of that. Now, run a line from the nipple on the intercooler pipe to the boost controller then have the line coming from the boost controller to the turbos actuator. Theres shouldnt be hoses left right and centre., just two. Make sure you connect the lines in the right way, otherwise it wont work and you'll overboost. Also have a quality boost gauge to check what boost your running, the stock one wont do, its SHIT.
  20. hahaha that was said by a 16yr old...
  21. brilliant
  22. got mine today, i left some feed back for you thanks again
  23. f*k yeah!!! will be an absolute animal.. 400rwkw's is a huge amount of power for the street, but that coming from a v8, just think of the torque.... good luck with it
