  1. Fisrt question, are you going to be retaining VCT? If so you have four options. HKS 256/256 HKS 256/264 Poncam 256/256 or a set of regrind cams.
  2. Lol looks like your going to have to swing by again, i got one
  3. He's the guy i told you about. Mod plated dads car. One of the nicest guys you'll meet, just ring him up and see what he says.
  4. Damn thats impresssive, look at the torque difference!! Very nice man, im jealous
  5. I'll check the graph in the morning man, good results for being summer now
  6. There you go, thanks for that He did say "solid 700-750whp, maybe more" so i assumed he ment 500+kw@wheels. If he ment engine horsepower and was using a percentage conversion, than i take back what i said, however i still wouldn't be going cheap on the main ingredient in making power.
  7. Yes i did read his post. You aint going to build a 500rwkw engine in your garage as an automotive detailer. However for the sake of the argument let's say he is, and he has all the machinary and equipment to do the job and balance everything perfectly, build the head perfectly and build it to rev above 8000rpm all day every day, therefore so there is zero labour costs. In parts alone, not including the turbo, i can easily count up over 15k. -fuel system to support 500+rwkw, ignition system, clutch -rods, pistons, new crank, oil pump, harmonic balancer, bearings/seals -valves, springs, cams, full engine gasket kit -intercooler to flow that much power, exhaust manifold, gate, custom dump, intake manifold, custom pipework Thats just a handful i've quickly thought of, missed tonnes of shit, not to mention all the little costs that we all know add up to a few hundred or thousand. Havnt included any machining or balancing or assembly costs. Honestly i just don't see on a build to make a 500+rwkw car, to be arguing over the cost of a turbo when you are talking that much money. Hell there are guys on these forums who's engines have cost them well into the 30+k mark and they probably did most of the stuff themselves, engine removal etc. Maybe it's just me, and if so, ill stay out of it. I just can't get my head around being in a situation like this, building such a high horsepower engine, and then asking peoples opinion on a turbo because you can get it cheap and don't want to spend a little bit more on a turbo that will do the job so much better.
  8. Agreed, looks like it just rolled out the factory, so bloody clean.
  9. Looks good man. Out of curiousity, what software are you using to show all the gauges on the in-dash screen?
  10. My god that thing revs! Puts my bike to shame.
  11. I'm confused. You say you have built an engine to support 700-750whp, that's around the 550rwkw mark. Now a lot of us here understand the costs involved and required to build an engine to handle that much power. Considering you havn't used a stroker kit or a 3L bottom end, that RB25 would have to be built to very high standards. I for one can't see an engine built to handle that power relibably with all supporting mods for say under 20 grand by a workshop. Hell im probably way off, even 30 grand. Now i realise in the states your dyno's read a bit different to ours, but even still, for a 500rwkw engine you are still talking big dollars. So my question is, if in fact you have built an incredible engine to handle that power well, why can't you spend an extra $1k-$2k on a proper turbo to go with the setup? Or, is the engine not as big of a dollar engine, which brings me to my next question, what is the specs of the motor? Are you sure it can handle over 500rwkw? Not having a go at you mate, but when i see some one talking about a big dollar, high horespower build, and then start saying they want a cheap turbo for around $1000 to make the power they say the engine can handle, i start to question it. Hell if i had an engine with that kind of potential, i would be looking at top dollar latest technology turbo's over the $3k mark.
  12. PM sent
  13. Yeah the cheating way is gay. I would love to find some one that has done it on Veteran. I had a google search but can't find anything other than people doing the hiding in the building cheat.
  14. Yep 10 of them to kill in a small ass level, they keep spawning and after you kill the third you constantly have three of them at one time. Only have explosive weapons that do sweet f**k all and you gotta do it with the pricks constantly chasing you. Nearly impossible. We tried it on Veteran tonight and just gave up after an hour. Couldnt get past three kills, just bloody impossible.
  15. Hahahaha. Havn't seen you around in a while man
  16. Teach me and Lukas your secrects, we'll give you 20% of all income from tuning and then down the track you come up here and teach us how to build a 9 sec RB
  17. Ahh ok fair enough, i didn't read it like that. But your right, thats what he probably ment. I thouht he ment he got a bit of change out of 3k lol. I did dimpled/slotted rotors, red stuff pads and motul fluid and i think it was around 1-1.5k.
  18. Exactly right. Hell up here with our harsh sun i barely get 4 months out of a good wax application. I do mine about every 3 months depending on how much sun the car gets and what condition the paint feels after a good wash. Very nice photos there, heard a lot about his work, pictures do the talking
  19. Oh man, seriously, it is the hardest level i have ever played in a first person shooter, 4 hours straight, absolute bullshit. Can't even imagine it being possible on Veteran.
  20. Haha so true man.
  21. WHAT?!?!? You gotta be kidding me right? We used the same shit at my old work (different brand but looks 100% the same as the stuff im seeing in these pics) to do a bunch of cars, can get it in all different colours, black, silver, blue, red, yellow etc. We bought a few rolls of all different colours (a roll was like 30m) and ended up doing a few cars sub boxes, door inserts (including my own) and for 3 rolls of the stuff i dont remember us paying anywhere near that! F**k paying that much for vinyl, my god.
  22. Ohh so we aren't talking about a spray on paint protection, we are talking about a "liquid polish" you put on. Well im not sure what you're on about than. Pure carnauba wax is the hardest natural protectant applied to vehicles. Then there are also synthetic waxes/polishes that do the same thing, however they don't last as long as natural carnauba wax, they can however give better shines and easier applications. At the end of the day whatever you are talking about is a wax/polish, simple as that. No magic liquid that you have discovered. "Stay away from polishes and waxes.....use clear coat". a) Clear coat is all ready on your car b) Products are put onto the clear coat to protect it and give it a smooth texture for a high glossy shine This product you are using falls into this category, so it is a polish/wax, therefore contradicting yourself. I think you are confusing yourself a bit.
  23. Just wish to say, me and my mate just spent the last four hours trying to finish "High Explosive" on Hardened without doing the gay cheat by blocking the doorway and we just got it!!! So F**k You Juggernauts!!! I now know what it feels like to be Jesus. That is all
  24. Haha it's really getting to you isn't it
  25. You can get places that do paint protection on cars, similar to what they have from factory if that's what you are talking about.
