  1. It is true, LS1's weakspot is low down torque. However a positive displacement manifold supercharger fixes that very well
  2. Wow Andrew Hawkins is on the forums Hey man!
  3. If i was in your position and wanted a good core replacement. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PWR-Intercooler-600...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  4. This is going to be good. Subscribed
  5. True that. My old man's thing is a monster.
  6. Less talk, more vids
  7. +1 for black. Only drama i have with mine is it doesn't beep anymore when it counts down and over boosts Can't figure out if it's a setting or something doesn't work anymore.
  8. V6's definetely don't sound anywhere near as good as a straight 6. That includes the new GTR, sounds nowhere near as good as an RB.
  9. Porn
  10. Yep definetely sounds like it is shorting. Are you sure there are no loose wires coming off of the ecu that could be touching, or loose wires in the engine bay?
  11. Lol go back to Nissansil matt
  12. You mind chucking some pics up of those when you're done? Sounds interesting.
  13. F**k yeah those look good.
  14. I got a Pivot voltage stabilizer and grounding kit on mine cause i got it dirt cheap. I used to have starting problems because of an average earth off the battery and a bunch of old earths breaking.
  15. Hey man, you are correct. The yellow and black wire is an earth strap and it bolts to the right of the engine mount. (not really important where you mount it as long as it is a good earth point on the block). I dont however think this is your problem as the ECU would still get power regardless. Check over all your wiring into the Microtech and use a test light to make sure the ECU is getting power into all the pins it is supposed to.
  16. I installed two black rocket switches where the useless coin holders were and a push botton switch where the antenna switch used to be to the left of the steering wheel. All look very neat and barely stand out
  17. It will be loud, trust me I love it though. Only downside is you will be heard from a km away No it doesn't sound anything like that 3000GT.
  18. So what year models are those Series II's? Are they a factory grill or something aftermarket?
  19. Ok technically they are a series 1.5 1995 model. The series 1.5 had a series II rear (colour coded SKYLINE garnish and spoiler update) with a slightly updated front bumper and grill. Drivers airbag was standard on them and the passenger airbag was optional. However i still class it as a series 1 since it has series 1 headlights (or in the case of the photo i posted it has series III GTR headlights, which as we all know are the same shape as series 1 headlights) and had a series 1 engine. Series II were 1996-1997 and had a normal series II empty grill, not the one above.
  20. That's the grille there, series 1.
  21. Wow that car is horrible. Keep looking dude.
  22. Series 1 judging by the incredibly small pic.
  23. I can comment on this. A few months back my mate was looking at buying a R34 and we went to have a look at one for 18k. It was immaculate inside and out until i asked to have a look under the bonnet. Both strut towers were rusted out like i have never seen before. Repairable rust, yes, however why go to the hassel when buying a car. So obviously my mate didbn't buy it. The car definetely didn't show any signs of being in an accident that i could see. Food for thought.
