  1. Wow they actually had that in a DIY article in HPI?
  2. Penis size, him and his mate were arguing over who has the larger penis. I for one believe i have the larger penis. Yeah im really bored at the moment.
  3. Hmmm not sure about tassie but it should be the year it was made in. So if it has 2004 on it, not sure what the hell is going on there
  4. Well after pretty much 33 pages of reading, this is probably one of the most interesting and technical threads i have read here on SAU. Really appreciate all the information you have posted Gary and i think ill grab some of this setup off of you soon Cheers Phil
  5. Umm yeah i do, i don't have HID's on my car though Any HID kit fitted to a vehicle where HID's don't come from factory are illegal because they don't have self levelling functions. Then again what doesn't void your insurance these days. Luckily im insured with Shannons and all my mods have been listed so i should be fine
  6. Don't need to but i would. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/go...ils-t22458.html To save you from reading all that though. Motul 300V Chrono, one of the best oils you can buy in Australia in my opinion but it aint cheap. A lot of people run Motul Turbolight aswell. For coolant, nulon green concentrate, then mix it yourself accordingly.
  7. I use Philips Crystal Vision globes in my low beams and my foglights. They are a nice white light and are still usable for driving around town (aren't dull like some of the globes like the Philips diamond visions). Having said that my friends HID's kind of make mine look yellowish. They are probably the closest that you will get to the HID look without forking out the extra money for HID's in your foglights aswell which would get costly
  8. Really? Shit i never knew that. Yeah i love supras, when modified nicely they look absolutely amazing (no massive bodkits, wings, neons and crap). And you cant go past the strength of a 2J and the Getrag box
  9. I drive around with mine on all the time (at night) and have never had problems with the police. They arent really foglights but driving lights. They take the same H1 wattage bulbs as your low beams so its no different then having 4 low beams on. As far as im concerned its my choice wether i want more light on the road, not up to police. Obviously if they are proper foglights or high beams or something then yeah thats understandable because it blinds traffic.
  10. Lol. You dont give up do you
  11. What state? In QLD its the year it was made in, not the year it was imported.
  12. Yes 550cc will handle it, however do you plan on going more than 300@wheels? If so id probably go the 740cc's in a GTR just to give you that extra head room down the track. Everyone knows once you start playing with power you cant stop
  13. Someone lend the man an ash tray!!!!
  14. Hahah yeah that would help Out of curiousity how much earlier does an extra 0.5 litre do for spool up time? Like is it 500-1000rpm earlier? Obviously a huge amount of factors alter the result but just a rough idea would be cool. Cheers.
  15. Very well said and very true. My friend works on a Lamborghini VT Diablo here in town, up to about 100km/h its nothing too flash and most slightly modified cars would destroy it from a set of traffic lights, however once it starts getting past that speed into its top end its got unbelivable torque and keeps climbing to 270+ where most cars start dying past 220. Different cars made for different purposes at the end of the day. Guess that pretty much sums up the point of this thread completely.
  16. You want a stock turbo to come on boost earlier?? It comes on early enough IMO. Pretty much any "flow" modifications will make the turbo spool up earlier. So in other words making intercooler piping as short as possible and as free flowing as possible will help. Changing an exhaust manifold to a better flowing one (this is usually only for high mount manifolds because your not going to get any gains for a stock manifold for a stock turbo). Then theres options such as aftermarket camshafts and then a good tune or a nitrous setup. Thats pretty much it. Obviously on a bigger turbo you might notice a good difference in spool up time, but for small low mounts, theres probably not a huge gain that you will notice, maybe a few hundred RPM with something like cams. Hope that helps. Just realised, what car are we talking about here? Or just talking turbo cars in general?
  17. Yeah had the same thing happen to mine, but it was like 10 degrees out, bunch of useless c***s working every where these days. Just take it back to them. If not you can adjust it at a suspension place by them getting under the car and adjusting some sort of steering arm or something, dont ask me what it was but my mate at pedders fixed mine from underneath the car in 5 minutes.
  18. Yeah they were the good old days, I remember having them sitting on the shelf at Autobarn all the time
  19. Out of curiousity, how on earth did autobarn get you one? I work at Autobarn and i havnt been able to get one since mid last year
  20. Ahhh so you knew about a 300kw GTRS equipped car, trying to hold back the truth ay But yeah i know what you mean, above something like 270kw its a mission to get the numbers out of it but i still think with a bit of mucking around it isn't as hard as it seems, ill try to continue this magical test of 300 out of the GTRS Yeah im really impressed by warlords graph, if i had that power i would be very happy indeed.
  21. I got mine through nengun, only took 2.5 weeks to get here so i was lucky.
  22. I'd just stay with what you have and yeah maybe add the nitrous if you wanted more, however looking at your dyno graph it seems to be an awesome street setup. How does the car drive, is it just awesome power around town that comes on instantly? I hope mine with a tune is similar to your dyno graph, i really want that low down power
  23. Ahhh, should have thought of that!
