  1. +1 on the Vipec. I used to have a Microtech and found that an absolute pain in the ass to try and learn how to tune on. I ended up selling it and buying a Vipec and now I do my own tuning. The layout of it all and ease of finding settings makes it a pleasure.
  2. Bahahahhahahahahaah! Link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeF3yP2-3QI *I didn't want to embed the video jut in case it is crossing a line lol*
  3. What I have made is just an aluminium undertray that doesn't stick out. But if people wanted we could look into something made in carbon fibre that had a smooth lip aswell.
  4. That's what me was thinking
  5. I'm currently speaking with Daryl to sort out what we are doing with the rear kit
  6. All that is different is the fitting into the caliper. So simple enough to get some new Hel lines and sell the old ones (that's what I'm doing). I'm sure you could use some sort of adaptor fitting but that's a bit dodgy.
  7. Well if I just keep it as a flat sheet of aluminium I will just have it between the bumper and the canards which makes it easy to fit. If we go with a carbon fibre one that incorporates a lip, than that will be a bit more tricky, but i'm up for the challenge. My challenge at the moment is to mount it properly to the front bumper. Obviously you can't use a nut on the end of the bolt because you can't access it once the undertray is on. So i'm going to try and use those little c-clip things with a nut built into one side of them (can't for the love of god remember the name of them at the moment. I'm sure you know what I mean). Sump plug is easy enough, just cut a small sqaure in the drain area (has to be a bit larger due to the angle the oil comes out at). The rear of it also has a cut out so you can still put a jack under the subframe without denting the undertray. Brake cooling guides is interesting, didn't think of that. Hmmmm i'll have a look to see what is possible.
  8. Come on, one more person! Remember, it will fit Silvias and Stageas!
  9. I'll try to take some pics, it's just a bit hard to get ones of it fitted on the car because i'm doing it in the garage on stands lol. I'll see what I can do. But basically this is what it looks like. This was what I used as a guide to do one for the GTST (photo is of a GTR). The purpose of it was for the following: a) The factory plastic undertray has to many little spaces that when you drop a bolt are a pain in the ass to find! I'm sure you have all been there. So with it being completely flat it makes it very easy to find a dropped bolt/nut etc. b) Aerodynamics....this is arguable but really, it can't hurt. And anything that helps me stick to the ground when doing stupid speeds is ok in my books. c) Catches any drips of oil that would other wise end up on the garage. d) Better protection from splashes of water/rocks into a detailed engine bay. e) It's cool, was fairly easy to make and I like it What you think?
  10. Yeah it definetley is a lot faster.
  11. All R33 coupe models have the same shape headlights OTHER than the S2 R33.
  12. Honestly bleeding brakes is a pain in the ass and I hate doing it.
  13. What method are you using to bleed the brakes?
  14. Oh really....
  15. f**k yeah! Titties!
  16. Plenty of people have done it. For the amount of money people ask for a GTR Brembo setup, would be better worth just spending a bit of money on a good set of rotors and good brake pads for the GTST calipers and still have some left over money in your pocket.
  17. You can still get deep dish wheels that will clear 99% of brakes though?
  18. f**king epic! Seriously, am I the only one that wants to play Grand Theft Auto with a bit of hard core pornogrpahy in it? Eh? Eh?
  19. The company we are getting them through for the group buy is in the US, however his supplier at Nissan is in Japan. So what was ment to be happening was the pedals were going to go from Japan, to the US and then to us. The supplier has good communication and usually replies to me within 24 hours (I email him every few days) but his supplier in Japan seems hopeless and takes ages to reply to him. I sent him an email saying we need to sort this out because it is getting a bit ridicolous. So I will see what he says.
  20. I'll speak to Hel this week about sorting out the brake lines and I'll PM every one to see what they want to do (whether they want to get their own or get some through me). If the guys that have signed up for the front kit want to get a rear kit, it would be best just to get Hel to make up a full front and rear kit for all of us.
  21. I told you, it doesn't work like that. You need a better understanding of fluid dynamics and internal combustion engines because you have a horrible understanding of it.
  22. Nice steering wheel though.
  23. Well that is basically what I have made However f**k paying $1300 delivered for something that is universal and won't fit properly. Mine is in aluminium and I am just getting it to fit properly using all factory mounts. The only thing that needs to be done is the mounts on the front bumper. I was thinking once it is made, to send it to some one for moulding and get them to make it in carbon fibre with a bit of a curved lip (like the Abflug lip posted) if there was enough interest.
