Fs: R33 Trail Bumper
SevenAngryPenguins replied to theuan's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I'm pretty interested, had a bit of bumper car action with a camry sportivo the other day, do you know how easy it is to fit? and do you know where you can you get the indicator lights? where in brisbane are you? -
the sound difference in going to an MDF shelf is amazing and well worth the effort IMO, only takes a few hours looks better and I get shit loads more mid-low bass now with zero rattle

What Are The Best Value Tor Money? Coil Packs
SevenAngryPenguins replied to iwantagtr's topic in General Maintenance
i have jjr's on my r33 and they work fine and looked to be well made as well -
this might be too late but.... the speakers have to be angled due to the shape of the steel parcel shelf holes (have a look from underneath) dont think you can really use the old grills without butchering your old shelf plus not worth the effort IMO no need to screw the shelf down if you make it the right shape it fits in very nicely and gets held in by the seats and the plastic side panels can get thin/backless carpet from jaycar and probably a shitload of other places

Do 6.5" Splits Fit Into Rear Shelf Of R33 Without Mods?
SevenAngryPenguins replied to uneek's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
yeah i had 6.5" Hertz splits in the back, had to modify/cut the plastic holder a bit to get them to fit properly though and i think some the holes didn't line up exactly in the plastic holder as well, also I left the restraint bars in over the speakers and i found (when i took them out) that the speaker was actually coming up and just hitting the bracket so now there are 2 small divets on the cones (no biggie), but now I have jaycar 6x9" in the back on an mdf shelf and they shit all over the splits -
seriously if you have got a new cover to go on while your putting the button in it takes about 20 seconds with multigrps to get it off
