my condolences mate, losing a pet's never easy, especially in a situation such as yours. did the vet say what type of cancer it was? his breed mix i'm sure would of made for one hell of a loyal companion. at least he didn't suffer long. at my work (vets) there's alot of clients who put that decision off for various reasons while the animal get more and more sick/suffers. or the animals spend their last months living in a hospital cage having multiple surgeries/tests done to squeeze a few more weeks of life, tiz very depressing 12 years is a good age. hang in there buddy

went to whitsundays december last year, price-wise wasn't any different booking myself as opposed to using a travel agent. travel agents generally make things much easier, everything organised, they find the cheapest prices etc. but honestly, i found the whitsundays extremely disappointing, and didn't see what the big deal was. sure the barrier reef is beautiful, but all the whitsunday islands look like dried up bushland surrounded by water. lot's of humidity, rain and mosquitoes. but note - my previous holiday was in fiji, so my expectations were high. it was kind of like going to warner bros movie world after going to disneyland, major let down.

no cheap but hi-tech mufflers put in a resonator on my r33, dropped the db from 92-84db at 4800rpm. in and out in 20 minutes, no power loss, no more drone . think it was about $250 from memory you might want to put a cat on though, otherwise i think it's a $5000 fine if you get caught
