  1. Japan exports drop 45% to new low! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7909248.stm I know this sounds bad, but with the Aussie dollar taking a wholloping over the last 5/4 months or so, this appears to be some relief in the short-middle term. If you understand how currency values fluctuate in the international market, you would see these export figures as a powerful and telling indicator that the Japanese Yen is likewise poised for an even greater fall.. So with less demand for Japanese products, also brings about in a depleation in demand for the Japanese currency, with a fall in demand also comes a drop in value. Therefore, if the value of the Japanese Yen is to drop, then even against our somewhat weaker Aussie dollar, imports from Japan (Electronics, Cars, Parts ect ect) should hence become cheaper for us once again! *toot*
  2. The Hamilton experience is a unique one and should be treated accordingly... It has been to his great advantage that he has had serious backing from day dot. Going bum first into a McLaren in their first season is unheard of. The closest thing I can think of in modern times is when Jenson got his go with BMW Williams in 2000, but even then, the 2000 Williams was NOT in the smae league as the 2007 MacMerc.. If we are going to raise the brazil thing again, I think people would agree that Vettel, a man of near equal experience/inexperience, in what is essencially an inferior car, with far less financial backing and much less technical resources the MacMerc. Passed the McLaren in so-so conditions (Given Hamilton's supposed superiorority in these marginal conditions), Vettel made Hamilton look like a ham-fisted twat... Louise was just lucky that once again the cards fell in his favour, if the race was a lap shorter, then he wouldn't have been celebrating that is for sure..
  3. As much as I am a Ferrari die-hard... I hope a sensor fails and we get a re-run of Singapore... As embarassing as it was/is, lollipopmen should be mandatory... All this stupid electronic fantasy fetish schiese is doing my head in...
  4. True, I mean as much I like racing games, I've always had a but of a soft spot for management, be it F1, soccer.. Has anyone here ever done the Formula 1 'dream team' online thing before??
  5. lol Ivan... I guess it doesn't float your boat eh??
  6. Then brakes, radiator, body parts, respray, cams, turbo, forged rebuild, stroker kit.....
  7. Not racing, but if you like management style games... http://www.gprm.co.uk/ Ultimate fappage!!!!!1!1!11!!1
  8. Man, that is a top show... Fcking miles better than Home and Away and Neighbours... I reckon the casting is spot on...
  9. Yeah, my coils were f*cked when I bough the R34 GTT, so the boys at Autoworx threw in a set of splitfires and I couldn't be happier!
  10. No it doesn't say much for Button at all.. and in all fairness, both Rubens and Jenson have been given two dud cars the last two seasons... It is a shame, both are pretty good drivers, and in regards to Rubens, he nailed the podium at Silverstone in 08, no one expected it. Rubens scored more and was overall, more consistant than Jenson, you never would've been a Piquet or Patrese as motivated as Rubens are all this time, yet Barichello is as fit and determined as ever... Which is a shame, he deserves better, although I so think IF he constests this years championship, he should leave after this one. I hope he gets the send off he deserves... He has been a fantastic patron for Formula 1, and us fans shouldn't forget that...
  11. You've caught Skyline aids!!! But hey, don't worry about the people that knock you down, just keep the car as legal as possible, keep the penis extensions to the minimum, do it right, do it properly the first time! No one should be laughing at ya, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are performance cars... Bit by bit you will get the build you want dude! Patience, perserverence, good timing, good standards and balancing vision/ambition with pragmatism/realism is the best way to go!
  12. Rubens proved he still had it... He out drove and out scored Button this year... Doesn't sound like much of a 'has-been' performance to me....
  13. Stroker SR22 in R34 FTMFW!!!
  14. I'd say the pressure is on him more than ever.. To win the championship convincingly... Loosing position to an inferior Toro Rosso a few laps from the end isn't all that convincing... I say that he drove wonderfully most of the season, and in China he drove as he needed to, level headed, aggressive and fast without going nucking futs.. Brazil on the other hand, he was off the boil, badly.. Then there was Japan... Red mist anyone???
  15. i want rubens in this sport so bad it burns
  16. Moments like these... I wish I had a Ducati!!
  17. Either that or get the Richards/Willis combo running it again... Remember when J. Button was best of the rest in 2004? I'm sure these lads know how to run a team! Barichello/Senna & Button in a Prodrive Honda.... MMmmmmm!
  18. but.... but..... Rubens....
  19. Yup.. JV... Imagine if Williams had Alesi and Verstappen or something like that... Would've been an astonishing team!
  20. The mac made a doo doo by hiring Heikki instead of teh Webz!
  21. Williams and RBR look quite good! I hope Adrian Newey can come up with something fantastic, 11 years ago, after sweeping regulation changes, he produced McLarens championship winning 1998 machine!
  22. But with the 08 spec wing it looks porn... and I'm a Ferrari fan! :=)
  23. 05 cars + slicks!
  24. See, this doesn't actually look too bad, proportion is good.. Plus, those slick do indeed succeed in giving me a bit of a hard on!
