  5. I'm a man who can multi-task.. Soak dishes in sink, put washing in machine, turn on, sit on dunny (#2's obviously! ), reading, and listing to music at the same time, supervising my sister's little dog and having a roast in the oven... All while successfully procrastinating... BEAT THAT!
  6. Hahaha, aren't ou doing Pete's wedding in March as well??? Well I've had a pair of V-spec GTR fenders sitting in my shed here at the farm for 8 months... It has taken me that long to decide I wanted a Top Secret GTR front bar... Now I can't even choose a bonnet lol! I'm such a pedantic prick!

  8. Christ, I can't see the problem in being just a bit more courteous and helpful... Half the reason these kind of threads pop up 10 times in a month is because if they are fortunate enough to receive ANY posts, they only get a handful of largely bland, derogatory and unhelpful posts prior to dying in the arse. Largely because of no one bothering to assist in contributing anything meaningful and constructive! Anyways mate. There aren't a heap of options for the R34 4-door, one thing that I'm going to do is to perform a full-blown, GTR front end conversion, for this you need a GTR front bar, bonnet and a pair of front GTR fenders (Maybe headlights too, can someone clarify this??).. I think for sideskirts there is pretty much nil choice, URAS and NISMO, and also because the rear ends from 4 and 2 doors are different, options are very limited there as well. carmate.com is a good place to start looking, you could also try Viva Garage. I know RICCA has done a front end GTR conversion, looks the beans mate! Pop him a message I'm sure he'd like to help..

  10. I can't say I'm certain, but I don't think they are compatible/substitutable... However, I pretty sure brands like ATI and Ross make aftermarket items for RB25 NEO.
  11. Sort of as in??? a) I actually own a 4 door man/turbo? or b) I've got a set of GTR fenders sitting in the shed, I've had them for 9 months and managed to do dick all with them.. Hence, I'm 1/5ths from completing my GTR conversion???

  14. If it didn't happen before you got the aftermarket coils, then the chances of the fault being in the coilpacks themselves is quite significant.. I'd get them checked out. By the looks of it, you might've got your mits on a bogus set of coilpacks.. What are they, Splitfire, JJR??

  19. Nononnono.. Dude... Please... I think you may have misunderstood me.. Ferrari will obviously still be powered by there own engines, likewise the Mac and Merc, BMW, Renault, Honda, Toyota ect ect... I'm thinking more for team the likes of Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Williams, Farce India (for 2009/2010, Prodrive maybe?), they could be provided from a selection of 2 or 3 different engine suppliers, tendered by the FIA of course, to supply engines (Yamaha/Audi/Porsche/VW/Lambo/Supertec/Cosworth/Peugeot) to ANY of these teams for say, 7m, 8m or even less (6m maybe??). In order to even up the field (only a little), the non works/manufacturer motors could be mandated to serve only 2 race meets as opposed to 3, or as I said before, maybe they can have 2 jokers instead of just 1. So yeah, you could see William - Cosworth, Red Bull - Porsche, Toro Rosso - Lamborghini, Farce India - Yamaha.. ect ect... As I said, bring on more tyre suppliers, and have alongside the WDC and WCC, there could also be a tyre suppliers championship/award and an engine supplier championship/award...

  23. Considering I do a fair bit of country driving, I'm thinking the K&N one might suit me best.. Is it true that K&N got 3rd best for flow and #1 for filtration???
  24. Maybe it would be good if they had three fixed tyre suppliers, Goodyear, Bidgestone and Michelin. Make it so no one supplier can supply to over 40% of the grid, and like a constructors championship there could also be a suppliers championship... Also, in terms of customer engines, wouldn't it be good if the FAI/FOM put out two or three tenders to companies, the likes of Cosworth and one or two other possible engine suppliers (Yamaha? Audi/VW/Lambo? and/or Peugeot?). Have them supply discount engines for say 7,000,000 quid a season, and have an engine suppliers championship as well.. These engines might only have to last 2 races before a change, or maybe the bottom 3 teams (non manufacturer backed) could be provided with 2 engine jokers... They must do something... I can't see any reason why this would detract from the sport at all, I think diversity is a good thing. To which I say, Formula 1 risks becoming a white bread motorsport...
