  1. The stock ecu with no tune will only run up to about 180-190awkws regardless of the turbo/setup. If you can get a hold of an impul or a nismo you might gain 10. Best I've seen in performance so far is an ar-x on standard injectors 13.1 over the quarter. I've just done injectors and emanage on the same car and it'll crack a 12.5.
  2. depends on how low you go! I'm running 245/45's with 19 x 8.5 with + 37 offset and a little low and i'm rubbing the fronts a little depending on what I run with the shock rates. The rear camber is also at 1.5 little high unless I roll the guards.
  3. you mean epping road! that would be me!
  4. Mine comes on when I go straight into reverse....probably the valve or needs a bleed. I might add that its been like that for years....I like having the option of 2WD and 4WD when I want it.
  5. wreck has carpet....its AR-X Tan!
  6. if you just want to replace the boost solenoid I have spares for sale.

  10. No Iain doesn't have one anymore. You have the exchange unit with you!
  11. Someone say welds!!! To dangerous.....cars should never have a weld.
  12. 13/ Used the banjo bolt from the block on the for the turbo........yes the one with the .8mm hole....this might have also added to the massive oil leak on top of the turbo.
  13. Going back through this thread makes me laugh. Anyway to getting to the point of why i'm posting. I received a M35 today at my house...I'm going to name drop(rosella) so that if you wish to PM him and ask him who he used you can. To say that I have never been more disappointed at the workmanship on a car before is going to be a big call.....this shop went full Re t a r d! Firstly I'd like to say that rosella has done nothing wrong but to trust the workshop and "qualified" mechanic's he gave his car to. So To start off(and this only get worse) 1/ Missing bolt on the back of intake bracket 2/ Loose top suction pipe hose clamp 3/ Suction pipe top bolt finger tight 4/ Suction pipe bottom pipe over tensioned....new stud needed as it was all but snapped 5/ Heat shields overlapping heat shield bolts....I might also add that they were rounded as well. 6/ Cross threaded Actuator bolts into the turbo...re tap needed. 7/ O2 Sensor way over tightened(well at least something was tight) 8/ After loosening the 2 bottom dump pipe bolts the whole dump pipe was flapping in the wind. Further to this there was a nut and bolt at the top that should not have been used at temp....the reason that a bolt was used was because they had drilled the thread through on the turbo rather than retapping it. 9/ Water pipe from the top not bolted on 10/ Oil line bolt not bolted on 11/ Turbo to exhaust manifold studs bolted up with ceased bolts from the turbo to dump side.....all were loose/finger tight with the exception of 1 bolt. 12/ Old line Banjo bolt missing one washer.....so it was pissing out oil everywhere. They tried to fix this by dumping a shit load of gasket goo over it.....this was there full re t a r d moment.....and everyone knows you never go full re t a r d!!! anyway rant finished.......now to get the turbo back in tomorrow if I can!
  14. Really....not while the car is running. P.S. You might find that the big frying pan on top of the VQ35GLASS heat soaks a lot more......even with NA power!
  15. Just like the soup nazi! NO MORE CAR WORK FOR YOU!!!
  16. I told you they were coming! It's still a small % of us but they are coming! I'm pretty sure they jumped in through the same window Aaron came through!
  17. Well after running the Mishimoto 12" Thermos and shroud for the last 6 month's I have made the decision to change back to the fan. My car with the thermo's has been running in between 86-93 on normal running(including freeway). I recently went down to Kiama and went through the mountains only to find that when I got to the top even though I was not up it the whole time I spiked up to 104. So with the fan(no shroud yet as I will need to make one to suit my Rad) my car's temp is now 74-79 in traffic and around town. I also had the chance to give it a good hit up some hill this morning only to find that the max temp I could get to was 81(I normally get to 93 on the same hill). On top of that the whole engine bay seems to be cooler. I have to say don't waste your money on taking the Fan off and only running thermo's.
  18. camera car at fault imo......he would have been out of the silver cars mirrors look at the line he was taking. I wouldn't have waited to get back to the pits to kick his head in!!!! Sand traps are soft so It would be a lot easier to hide the body!!!
  19. Yeh I popped one 2 days ago....might have been going for a while though!
  20. Scott's one is heaps better!
  21. It's this one http://bit.ly/ZdxM5m I'd have to measure everything....the fittings it comes with have the same line thickness.
