That looks the goods exterior wise. Can't tell you anything about the engine, at least you can be pretty sure the K's are legit. Maybe see if the timing belt has been done? (100k service) Otherwise i believe it's quite expensive.

Brendan, good idea with the Dayz edition 17's by the way! That's what I'll say if they pick on it. What can I show to proof to them the glass is UV cut and not tint therefore conform with ADR's?

Anyone know if the 17's will be a problem for an ID check? Or is it luck-of-the-draw stuff.

Congrats! I was in your shoes not so long ago, (first turbo car, AWD etc etc) and its been great. You won't have any regrets with your purchase. 37000kms in 8 years is very little... do the maths but that might be wound back even. It about 88kms per week. Want to be careful because the timing belt is due at 100000kms service.

And another thing i'd forgotten to mention, the compliance plate is on the front passenger side door pillar. Is that normal?

Absolutely stock apart from 17's. Will that be a problem? It's in very good condition otherwise. Are they very strict with the 40km ruling? I'd rather go there then Regency and get pinged for my 17's.

Hi there, I'm looking at getting my Stagea re-registered to SA. Apparently all I need is a vehicle ID check as it is currently registered in VIC. I've heard/read people saying all I need to do is go to the Sturt Rd cop shop, where exactly is it? What's the procedure, do I turn up when they open in the morning or do I have to book in a time? Catback exhaust wanted for S2 Stagea. Wanting something free flowing but not too loud, just a little louder then stock is ok.

I have the tiptronic (steering mounted) but hardly use it. It's pretty slow, slower then using the gear shifter i feel. More of a gimmick i reckon.

Definitely Dayz front bar, maybe even Dayz all round? Looks the same as mine but black. Looks hot in black for sure, shame about the faux wood interior :laughing-smiley-014: ... but that's me! 44000kms for 99 version? That's pretty good if it's legit. Couldn't recognise the badge at the rear left side. Mine just has a grey badge that says 'Dayz Neo Series' or something.

Managed to get 10.5l/100kms on the way back from Melb. Average speed was around 120-130kph. Stock everything running on BP Ultimate. Thinking of getting free flowing exhaust now, don't want anything loud, just to improve exhaust. Any recommendations? Should I go cat-back or turbo back? Not wanting to spend more then around $300-$400 if possible. Where's a good place to go in ADL?

Hi, Need... to .... mod... the stagea. From what I've gathered, exhaust first. But any harm if I go and put on a hi flow panel filter before exhaust? Will it stuff up my air fuel mixture? Thanks!

Hi, I'm looking to put an alarm in the car, particularly the Mongoose M60. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's much support/sales in Adelaide for Mongoose alarms. Does anyone know where I can get it? Any idea what the ones being sold on ebay (around $150) are like? I understand the Viper's off ebay were grade "B" and not of good quality, and most installers wouldn't touch them. What about the Mongooses? Mongeese? About to go with Ryno (through Guardian Brokers) although quoted $650 a couple of months ago before I got the car, when I rang again recently it had gone up to $750 . Still cheaper compared to JC with agreed value/repairer, 1x no exccess free windscreen, $500 excess. JC was $350 more, and double the excess. Might try Famous (?), contact anybody? (Sorry for slight hijack!)
