  1. Yeah, I hope so too! I think Chef is used to it with all the other car crazy people he has dealt with over the years!
  2. Jspec imported my Black Stagea years ago, complied at GT Auto in Melbourne. Very happy with the car and whole process from pre auction inspection to final delivery and registration on road. Because of the specific spec of the car I wanted, it took a few goes at auction and 8 months to source what I wanted. Currently in the market for a much rarer car than my Stagea, and have been driving Iron Chef a little bit nuts lately. Tony.
  3. After getting another damaged drivers side weathershield from a fellow forum member (thanks Bentwagon), I repaired it as my one was really really bad and got it painted to match the car. For those who have damaged ones consider glueing them if salvageable, and then paint them, look much nicer than the natural tinted colour. These are getting really hard to get and not available from Nissan anymore.
  4. Yeah, I have been using the online info for awhile now to verify car details etc, but I was more interested in the personal side of things of whether you knew the owner. You don't see many of these around anymore and especially in peak hour traffic!
  5. Push type clutch up to Feb 1993, then changed to better pull type design http://webbersrbguide.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=69:fs5r30a-pull-vs-push-clutch&catid=44:transmission-a-gearbox&Itemid=24
  6. I saw this Silver R32 GTR ADM today in Melbourne traffic- Cnr Spencer and Dudley Sts, West Melb. REG RFC-21, obviously a mad Richmond Football Club fan. Do we have this one on the list?
  7. Jim's red GTR now listed as $70000 asking price represents great value for an immacculate and original car, in my opinion.
  8. I'm pretty sure the series 2 wheels are 16in not 17in factory for Rs Four.
  9. Nissan Australia did keep a track of engine number as the original number is stamped on the plate on the firewall for Australian Delivered examples and is also documented in the delivery certificate paperwork. ADM GTRs have a unique VIN so they wont come up in FAST. Agree FAST does not list engine number details for JDM versions, only way to track would be if the original Japanese delivery paperwork was with the car. This, from my experience is very very rare, original service history is very hard to get let alone any other documents for JDM's.
  10. That's debateable. If it is the case then it isn't the build numbers as there are other factory colours that are much rarer for VSPEC 1 &2. Black is always popular though, so is the Gunmetal Grey as it is "The Original" R32 GTR colour.
  11. Thanks Bob, Interesting article with the lap times of the Recaro/Momo GTR within 3 secs of the race GTR lap record (Oran Park). I wonder whether that was with the factory boost limiter in place or removed? Tony
  12. Thanks Bob, I took those pictures back in 1993 (when some of the guys on here were not even born), with a real camera that you had to go the shop to get the film developed. I was very much interested in these cars back then, even though I was a Holden fan and drove my V8 around everywhere. BTW, I still have the V8 (garaged and covered). Perhaps, this "RECARO" GTR can be also added to the list under "others" or similar as it is now Green and doesn't fall into one of the 3 colours available. Regards, Tony
  13. That Silver one has since been Sold.... as I asked Andrew about it.
  14. Hi All, I was going through some old photos and came across the attached R32 GTR ADM. It appears to be a Promo car for Recaro and was displayed at the 1993 Melbourne Motor Show and is dark green in colour. It looks standard on the outside apart from the aftermarket wheels and repaint. The ADM features are there, roof mounted aerial, tail lights etc. I wonder if it survived?? ADM GTR32 GTR Recaro Promo Car Mar 1993 Melbourne Motor Show.pdf
  15. Yes I have the cold area optioned car as well, but no rust to speak of. The snow button near the console is the one that let's the car take off in 2nd gear, to help with wheels spinning off the line. The 4WD button on the dash just locks the ratio of 4WD to 50/50 front to rear wheels, I.e full time 4WD like a Subaru. The heated front windscreen is great and those front seat warmers I just love them on a cold winters morning! That one has too much rust for It to be viable, you can get much better condition cars for not so much $'s these days, Stageas have really come down in price over the last 3-4 years both locally and in Japan. To answer the question- No That amount of rust is NOT normal, rust under the mirrors however is.
  16. Looks like the R34 GTR NUR also advertised by the same owner is also unavailable.
  17. Any other owners care to share?
  18. Gee that consumption seems to be really high. With a/c on and in traffic I can accept 20 l/100, but 18 l/100 on the highway is a bit much? How was it running before you removed the O2 sensor, how many km since LPG conversion and on the car in general?
  19. Reading through various threads, seems like there are a few dual fuel LPG converted M35's running around. I would like to get some feedback from the M35 2.5l turbo owners who converted to LPG and have put some Km's on their engines. There may not be any 3.5L NA conversions done as yet? How much mileage have you covered? What system? Vapour injection or Liquid and brand What power level? What mods? Converted by? Tuned by? Tank size, total and useable? Tank location? cost before any rebates? Cost after any rebates? fuel economy city? Fuel economy Highway? any problems/notes on the conversion or improvements that could be made? Would you recommend to somebody else?
  20. He does Bob in the brief comments in the ad, then goes on to state that the OZ wheels where changed by Skaife; "Brief Comments 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR32 Ex Gibson Motor Sport, Mark Sfaife's personal road car in as new cond." I would be interested at around half the $130K asking price, but that would be underselling it I suppose, given its the lowest km ADM been publicly offered with only 14,000 Km's, completely original and seems to be in mint condition. Time will tell however! Perhaps we should have a poll on what we think it's worth? ( Open to current owners only!)
