  1. That is because they only go to Mcdonalds, not because they go the GPcircuit.
  2. Yes in all her beaten glory.... If it makes the second session I'll be surprised lol
  3. Greetings guys, not sure what the go is as its been a millenium since I've set foot near a track in a car. Can someone please give me No.26 and link this forum name to my member number as I thought it would have been deleted soI left it off lol. Much thanks Easto
  4. RB25/30's ain't that hard I just recently threw a big end on mine and replaced it with one I had under the house. If you have the right belt and line all the marks up, providing the tension is correct, confirm they meet up again after a number of rotations. No problem. You then need to tune the thing, Stock 25 computer needs a fuel reg to bump the fuel pressure up. If you haven't touched the fuel pressure you don't have enough juice for the thirsty 30. I have never used an adjustable cam wheel on either cam other than the standard oil activated one(which has a blocked off oil feed of course)
  5. Another Late one.... Thanks heaps to the organisers I had a great day, shame I had to leave early. Cant believe you didn't keep driving with no power steer Fatz..........
  6. I gotta start importing cars....... I've bought a number of imported cars the best one was my second HR31 which I got from an importer. when i pulled the dash apart to do a number of wiring mods and noticed the screws holding the odo in had cracked all the plastic from being done up too tight. Never heard of nissan doing that LOL
  7. Mitsubishi Challenger PA I recently bought one on LPG it is bloody awesome I got the LS model with 110000 kms on the clock(03 model). For lower models in earlier years you can get em for round 8k (approx 200,000 kms) it gets about 400km to the tank 60L and 50L of LPG gets around 320kms. All power options and so cheap to buy only thing is the 3L petrol motor but it still tows the 31(with trailer 2 tonne) just a tad slow uphill These are so good and so cheap and still have a good offroad capability. If u get one there is still a rebate for the lpg kits, 1k i think all you need to get is a spare wheel carrier. Screw diesel! LPG/dual fuel all the way
  8. Na forget the long winded approach just do what I do just turn up pay your coin and pretend to bleed your brakes for 6 hours....... 1- its great fun watching your wench pumping the pedal especially when she doesn't need too. 2- you really don't need to go onto the track. 3- people see you and think "Wow he must be cool" and "gee his girlfriend must really work out". 4- you get to enjoy the pre and post festivities. Perfect what more could you possibly ask for????
  9. Wow I changed the oil and gave it a start the other day I even cleared the cobwebs from the intake she is ready to go, pitty there ain't time for some panel beating lol Whats the deal is anyone heading down a night early or staying the night after???? I really feel we need to sample the local brew at the diggers club
  10. Hell yeah the coin is inbound, I'm hoping my brakes actually stop the car on first go this time spent the whole day bleeding them last time..... Pesky R31 lol I'll fax the form over this arvo Much thanks
  11. Yes it's still red, if i ever manage to acquire a set of flares she'll look a little better. It looks a bit beaten after i tried to make my own flares which was a massive fail! She still runs too i've been to the track a couple of times lately and should be out on the 4th with some brakes that actually release when you take your foot off the pedal. Ha Whats been happening during my lull???
  12. Hi all, Its been a very long time since i got jack of the slow net connection i had many years ago. Things change but the 31 hasn't. After recovering from the "Drift Hangover" as i call itand work commitments, I have been slowly returning to the track and restoring my beloved Black Pearl. ATM the car is awaiting a set of flares and a respray. If anyone needs any help or info don't hesitate to ask esp. if you need tips on how to crash you car. He he Thanks guys, stay cool Easto
