  8. Sydneykid, I'm having my rear k-frame replaced as all the bushes are stuffed. It would be a good tiome to remove all the HICAS gear then... I just want to make sure that we get everything off, and don't have any potential problem areas by doing something wrong. Are there any pointers/tricks/tips you can give us, so that we do it correctly? Thanks, Nick

  10. This should be interesting. I've seen a B16A conversion... I don't think you'll get a 2.2L in there unless you lengthen the bonnet or somehow move the firewall rearward. It's hard enough getting the 1.3L A series I've got in mine. Keep us all updated!
  11. What's the G.O.? Do we have a solid meet time? I'm 80% certain I'll be coming. My biggest concern is fuel requirements, as I've got platinum plugs and therefore can't use octane boosters
  12. If it's not R33 specific and could help me in my R32, I'd like to hear about it. I know a trick used to enter Subarus, and we have a similar design in a particular area that puts us at the same risk... let me know if that's it.

  14. Nope. Basically you can't distinguish between turbo and non-turbp models. The only way to tell is by how fast they take off etc.
  15. My AFMs are orange and the numbers are 22680 05U00 A36-000 J70. Are these stock GTR items?

  18. What's the best way to disable it on an R32 GTR? I assume you need to put a "locking bar" of some sort in, and somehow prevent the hydraulics from working? Nice technically worded question I know!

  21. Yeah, I concur... heater core or lines running to it. It has probably rusted out a hole and when you get enough lateral Gs it's sloshing water out of the hole.

  24. I think it really depends on how heavy your right foot is. My fuel economy is based on may daily driving habits - it's a 55km journey to work with a mix or peak hour and freeway driving. I don't spend a lot of my time boosting (but I do give it a squirt once or twice in that trip). My car is boosted - it's running approx 14psi.
